What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This morning's carry was this prototype "SLR" by Jerry Halfrich:

That's a real beauty, Elliot!

Thanks, Mark. It's small but quite hand filling and like all of Jerry's knives, laser sharp.

Great for those cooler mornings when you don't feel like fumbling around getting your knife open while trying to mind your dog on your walk through the woods.

today i carry my buck gen 5 cpm154 w/rosewood scales on the belt my handmade buck creek copperhead in one pocket and my case xx blue jigged bone middle stockman in the other.

Carrying my Mutz canoe (avatar knife) today. Carried my mini copperhead most of last week while I was out of town and in public places (Georgia World Congress Center and CNN Center among others - had a really good time last week).

That Halfrich is a real beauty, Elliott. I'm not sure what it is about it (other than the maker's mark ;)), but it's instantly recognizable as a Halfrich design, even though I''ve never seen another of his straight knives.

This was in my pocket yesterday.

I'm home sick today and have a number in front of me but only my Vic Manager in my pocket.

That's slick looking Cannitler. I love that pattern (I think, don't have one, but should).

how do you find the texturing where your index finger sits? looks like a fine little knife!

Thanks guys!

Robert, it works great. Great purchase without being so aggressive that it raises hot spots. The knife fits your hand like an additional finger, a very sharp finger. ;)

Just unloaded my pockets about 11 minutes ago, and this was my day's carry.

UN-X-LD Equal End Harness Jack.

Hello, all. Today I am carrying a Case XX Standard Knife Co Barlow Knife 90494 with a natural bone handle. It has a half stop, which I am getting used to, and is extremely stiff to open, which I am also getting used to. After 40 swipes on the sharpmaker, 20 medium, 20 fine, it shaves printer paper. Sorry no pic, but I don't have a camera.
EDIT: Turns out patern number is 61005ss.

Thanks Ed. It has 2 back springs, both in use for the main blade, and one for each secondary. Similar in size to a Queen Dan Burke Small Barlow or Vic Pioneer. It feels good in hand, only slightly thicker in the center due to the cut of the ram horn. It came extremely sharp.
