What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I just put a red Victorinox Secretary in my pocket. Great little knife.

I am a little late on my comment, but I just have to say that every time I see one of those Kerry Hampton clip blades, I can't help but thinking that they are absolutely definitive of the form. None have ever been made that are better for their purity of line. Sometimes beauty transcends subjective and becomes objective (well, that's my subjective take on it! :D)
Boring: well, still carrying Case/Bose dogleg jack. Many weeks now. Really boring: processed about 6 or 7 game animals with plainjane Buck 121. That edge has just been like the Everready Rabbit.

that is a beauty. i like the look of the bead blast on that type of blade.

Not a bead blast. It's etched (ferric chloride etchant) for corrosion resistance (which darkens the blade).

It's like a pre-applied patina.

I dropped this combo in my pocket today. Erickson Swayback with ivory Micarta and my Eldon Talley City Knife.

Those knives look like an invitation to take a walk in the woods, Gary!:cool:

If my dad's Alma mater Pitt hadn't been playing mine today, I would have been!

Couldn't decide between these two venerable Case jacks, so they'll each see some time today.

I've got the SAK Spartan that Jani gifted me in my right pocket and my amber bone mini copperhead in my left pocket. I feel suitably equipped for the day. - Ed
