Elliot, I love that knife, Kerry made a good one there. I am carrying a Moore Maker 5304 large stockman in smooth yellow bone today.

Barritt

Thanks, Barritt. Kerry did do a good job and is only getting better since.

I have one of those 5304's in smooth yellow as well. It's a fine knife that can tackle about anything thrown at it.

In honor of Kerry, I decided to drop this one in the pocket today.
He does do some great work. I know Tony must be pleased.

We are thinking alike, does that mean we have great minds?
I put this in the Left front pocket of the Levi's at about 5:30 this morning.

Today I have a factory Buck 112 in the pocket. The sheath knife on my belt is a custom drop-point hunter by Jake DeBaud (www.debaudknives.com) and is a joy to use. His kitchen knives are ultra sharp and true works of art.

Today it will be a Böker Whittler in Green Washboard scales, very grippy and different. The Whittler pattern is getting more outings with me these days, compact but sturdy.

I'm trying to decide between my Menefee Trapper, Case Small Texas Jack, Schrade 8OT, or a Victorinox Pioneer. Decisions, decisions..

Everything about that Lanny's Clip of yours is just perfect Elliott. You gotta smile when you're slippin' that in your pocket.

While I hope to get a custom one of these days I will have to settle for the Dan Burke Small Barlow that queen replaced yesterday. I will take a few pics at some time just need to find the camera.

This morning's pick was this modified wharncliffe (ATS-34 & German bone) by John Howser. I like to be able to pluck the blade open on chilly mornings rather than rely on the nick:

That BP is nice Vince. Kerry hit a homer with that one.

I like the bone on that Howser Elliott. The modified wharnie blade makes for a great all around pocket knife.

It's back, it's back! Case did their usual great job restoring this little jack for me. Snap-perfect, f and f perfect, my fav EDC is home.:D

Thank you, (and thanks to you too, Gary)!

John does great work at very reasonable prices. I picked this one up at the Blade Show in 2009 and I hope to have something coming in from him by Christmas this year. I highly recommend his work.
