@Onejim, sweet 66, made me pocket mine today...

FANTASTIC Stag on that! Oh, the Bone one's not too bad either:D

Thanks, Will

Stephen Impressive 'doctoring' on that Forum Knife, has it had a drink of tea or potash?

Actually, the word 'doctoring' made laugh, reminded me of my late Ma threatening the Ginger Tom with doctoring after he'd been misbehaving in some paticularly anti-social way:D:D:thumbup:

Regards, Will

In honor of Mr. Chuck Buck there will be a Buck knife of my hip until the month changes...

A couple of Barlows in my pockets today:

Primble - That is 2 very classy Barlows:thumbup::thumbup:

Intimations of Immortality

Gevonovich - That is a beauty, Sir:thumbup:

Kicking it old school today. Knife and books are of the same vintage.
Schrade Barlow (sometime between 1910-1946)
General Shop Work (1940)
Elementary Mechanical Drawing (1915)
Electrical Machinery (1917)
Technical Mechanics (1917)
Introduction to Theoretical Physics (1924)

Sean - There is nothing at all wrong with "Old School". Most of the principles and knowledge between those old covers is still very applicable today.
That Schrade is a mighty fine looking Barlow:)

I'm carrying my slightly doctored forum knife.

Stephen - I really do like the color of that Stag now, IMO it is much improved:thumbup:

I actually used the Technical Mechanics book in my schooling at GT. A lot of the concepts and problems were laid out more plainly with less fluff than the current textbooks. Newtonian/Euclidean dynamics haven't changed much in the past few hundred years.

The theoretical physics book on the other hand... I'm fairly certain there are some things wrong in there, and a few things that are presented as theories that are now Laws.

Now that is the pair, Brett!!
The Shelby Mihalevich is super fine and looks real sharp!

Ron
Thank you kindly for the complimnent!

These two arrived today in a swap between Duncan and I...2009 #73 Linerlock with Ebony covers along with a Pen behind the Spear Ebony TC Barlow:thumbup:

Will - thanks! :) I've never heard the term doctoring used in that way before, but got a laugh imagining it. My Mom threatened my brother and I plenty, but it was usually in regard to telling our Dad what we'd been up to. My Dad, on the other hand, rarely issued threats, but was/is a man of swift action. ;) As for the knife, I used a bit of potash (potassium permanganate) on it last Saturday. Perry deserves credit for the inspiration, and Primble credit for the encouragement to try it.

Ron, Sam and Primble - thanks for the compliments gentlemen! And Primble, thanks again for the help. :)

I've never seen a bare headed 15. Any more details on this run, or is it a post-factory mod?

And thanks for the help fellas. This is the last area on BF I truly enjoy anymore. I really appreciate everyone's pics.
