Case 6231 1/2 today.

Great knives!

I remember going to the caverns as a kid.
 
Been carrying this one around today. 1965-1969 era Case large stockman with stag scales. I love the way this big knife tackles just about anything I throw at it.

BEAUTIFUL CASE STOCKMAN!!! I have a 10 dot 1970 #5292 and an 8 dot 1972 #6375 and they are a couple of knives that I would never part with:thumbup:

Erik, A #72 lockback for me as well today---I have NO IDEA what this jigging is called but I Love it---looks like flames to me:cool::o:thumbup:

You are more than likely correct Jack, but the Worm Grove I'm accustomed to is like that of Queen/Schatt & Morgan where it seems to be two or three more straight like grooves in the bone? Or where it has more custom like jigging with one random "Worm Groove" throughout the covers. Not sure I'm explaining it correctly:o

The Tube Cover say "Autumn Gold Jig Bone":)

Just a guess Paul. I do like the Queen/S & M Worm Groove, but seem to recall seeing GEC use the name too, but the grooves looking smaller. Good luck in solving the mystery :)
