What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I figured if I carried these hard-working knives today, I'd get some chores done around the house.
Nothing productive done yet. :D

I totally love the #77 Barlow in Stag covers...

^^^^^^I love that knife you posted billie, can you give me some more info on it?

Ryan
Thank you, It a T. Hessenbruch & co. jack knife. From my little research it was made in Philadelphia PA somewhere between 1873 and 1906. It is a robust knife and the fit and finish is amazing.

It was 97 at my house today. It's now 6:30 and still 92. Shorts weather.
For me that means a nice light weight Opinel has been in my pocket. An inox #8.

Lemmy Caution - terrific pair you're carrying today. I hope they brightened your day.

mr badexample - great looking 48. The beer looks good too. ;)

556hunter - great looking Bull Nose. Your wife and kids picked a nice gift for you.

Kris - beautiful knives. I especially like the Menefee Dogleg.

5K Qs - nice looking knives, but I've been there before too with compatibility issues. Hopefully it'll work out, or if not, that you'll be able to trade them to someone for whom they're a better fit.

Jack - Ancient cathedrals, crypts and a pub called The One Eyed Rat? Sounds like the makings of a wonderful day, and yes, I think I would've loved it. :D

Link2Derick - seems like you were well and stylishly equipped both at home and in the woods today.

Duane - nice pairing. I really like the jigged scales on your 73.

r8shell - at least you were well prepared. I believe it was Mark Twain who said, “Never put off till tomorrow what may be done day after tomorrow just as well.” ;)

JustinR - two terrific knives. I especially like the Schrade Walden trapper - that one is a real beauty.

Invoice - nice choices for today.

Nick - I love the scales on your Fight'N Rooster. Gorgeous!

hillbillie hippie - what a great old knife. Beautiful and looks to be in fantastic shape for its age.

Todd - lots of wonderful and unique knives you're carrying today.

Frank - 97°? Sounds like you guys skipped Spring in SoCal and headed straight to Summer. The #8 Opinel seems like a good choice for the day.

Mark made me get out some Candy to honor this time in Philll's life. I think I will make some bread today:D
