Congrats on finding that one Primble, I love the color, dang, I mean I love the whole knife.

Thanks for the kind words, GT. Much appreciated, Sir!

The White Owl is a knife I was gifted by our fellow forum member Thom (scruffuk)
The Powderhorn Jack has 4 inch closed and 6.9 inches overall length. It performs so great in hand! Carries like a glove. The bone on that one is Copperhead Jigged Bone.

Viel Spass beim Lernen der deutschen Sprache. :)

Thanks for the follow-up information, Andi.
A 4-inch 2-bladed toothpick sounds just about perfect to me. Usually, I think a 4-inch knife is too big for me to carry, but as you write, a toothpick seems to carry smaller than its actual length, if that makes any sense.:o
Ich weiss nicht gegen "viel Spass", aber harte Arbeit fur diesen alten Mann!

Indeed - a 4 inch knife seems to be a big one. But that Powderhorn Jacks / Toothpicks are great to carry on an EDC basis. It seems that this size really isn´t that matter. I have more than two dozen GECs and also some #73 and this one #12. For a front pocket carry the shape of the #12 is fitting great in the pocket - as long as the end of the horn is not on the inside of your leg ;)
But - kidding aside - the #12 carries ways better than its size might seems. I was also a little concerned, when I ordered mine. But your two honorous members Duane (sitflyer) and Ed (Modoc ED) told me what´s up with this size and kind of knife. They were correct. An underrated knife made by GEC.

In my case: it gets all the points in size - and - carry - relation.

Still carrying El Presidente. Can't seem to find a better knife.

Dr. Mabuse,

That's a good looking knife. Ive been looking for a good single spring two blade knife for a while and this one has caught my eye before. we don't see many Presidentials on here. any additional thoughts you have on the knife or additional pics would be welcome.

Thanks,

Jim

This may be the first Opinel I haven't felt like modifying.

THAT'S where I keep seeing another Powderhorn! sitflyer has posted his several times recently, I think. Very nice knives.:thumbup:
Is this a correct translation? It is never too late for speaking German, whether old or young. (Not sure about the meaning of egal ob, and I don't know how to type umlauts, or remember which words need them :()
