What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This weekends carry, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Austin Goldman Hunter. Picked this up from a knifemaker here on Bladeforums, I have three of his knives and like them all.

Worn-out after a long day....but it's nice to return home to contemplate some other worn items. An old Hoffritz single-spring.

Among the knives I'm carrying today are a Schrade USA 34OT and a Colt teardrop jack with "buckshot bone" covers. I'm carrying them in a leather pouch that has a lanyard on it that is a souvenir string tie that my grandpa and grandma brought me from a trip to Yellowstone sometime in the 1950s.

W:eek:W :eek::eek: Can't wait for them to arrive my friend !!! My Boker cabinet is pining right now.

Fantastic !!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

I need a few for my ( one day ) cabinet;)! Your already on plural:D , my friend. I would just love to sit with you and look at your knives, much less ever catch up.

Gev, what is the story about this knife? What is it? What are the handle covers?

Dr, it's a Curtain and Clark eureka jack in a type of waterfall celluloid. Found it at an antique store for a few dollars. It was a treasure in the rough. I just got the rust/dirt off and left her in all her glory:D

A just arrived EO modification of a #15 from the very gracious craftsman Paul - thank you again sir for adding such a fun custom dimension to this great pattern. Couldn't have come any better from GEC itself.  I'll definitely be carrying this one with pride. :)

Really like that EO mod on the ebony 15. These two went with me, today. Just got the peanut CV yellow, yesterday. Quite a nice little knife to be so small. the Chambriard Compact is it's own little jewel.

AWESOME! What an outstanding job, it looks great and super functional. I pinch-open my sheepfoot 77 Barlow all the time, almost never using the long-pull. I've not needed an EO notch, but I do like them in the knives I've had with an EO.

Gevonovich - seeing your Curtin & Clark Eureka Jack made my day. Can you make out whether the tang stamp reads St. Joseph or Kansas City? As you might recall, I have a small CCCC gunstock that is one of my prized possessions. I just don't see many examples show up, so seeing yours today was a real treat.

I had this one with me again today.

GT - Great Old Timer and I really like the vintage 1950's "Yellowstone Park" souvenirs that your grand parents brought you.:eek::thumbup::thumbup::)

Your whittler is a real looker, Stephen! About the CC...unfortunately most of the tang stamp is missing so I can't tell....sorry. I will keep my eyes peeled for ya! They are a favorite of mine too and exceedingly rare;).

Batten down the hatches and that Hatch up high off the floor:D

Gary, love that leather pouch, I actually owned a novelty knife with Yellow Stone on it. Lost it in a barn when I was little:(

Will, terrific Hoffritz:thumbup:

David, you converted me over to the single blade #15, an additional thanks when the mail arrives;)

Jeff, that NF sheepfoot is aging nicely:cool:

Ryan, great #23, is that petrified wood that it's sitting on?

Bloefield, thank you for the compliment:)

Stephen, I really like that #38, when my season gets underway and cash flow increases I will have to pick one up:thumbup:

Primble, thank you for the Charlow compliment. My life has been simplified picture wise with a recent "smartphone" purchase. My brother is a real photographer like you and says it's cheating. He says skills are no longer required:o

Gev thank you my friend:thumbup:

Jim, nice Copper:cool:
