What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great choices everyone, especially BigBiscuit! I need to drag my scout out, I've never carried it!

Here's a bad picture of a good knife..........

We've had a week of lovely weather, and I was hoping to take full advantage of it this weekend. Just finished packing my rucsac when the weather completely changed, it's now dark and windy, and absolutely lashing it down with rain :( I've had to change my plans, and my carry. At least I have the lovely #25 PMEW sent me to put a smile on my face :)

Sorry to hear the weather threw you for a loop Jack. But that is certainly a nice knife to tote around the house.

Thought I'd go stag today... at least in knife choice

Wow, all the press these higos are getting lately have really sparked an interest in me. That is the first multi blade version that I've ever seen.
That forum knife aint to shabby either.

;) Mainly for the novelty, but it can open a letter as well as any other old knife.

Too damp out to mow the lawn today. :) I'll just have to do some whittling.

:)

Nice Boker r8shell

Jack - sorry to hear about the weather, but hopefully it'll improve in time to salvage some of your weekend plans. Lovely knives you're showing today and I agree that the 25 makes a terrific consolation prize. It's overcast here, but we're planning to take a short hike a little later this morning.

Thanks a lot Stephen, hope you had a good hike, and enjoy the rest of your weekend my friend

Thanks Lemmy. I actually went over to visit the flea-market of a local town, no knives unfortunately, but I had a look round. I went there by train, and travelling on Saturdays here can be a bit crazy, so I deliberately went small :) Those are great pics there

Had to change things up when this came in the mail - diving head first into the world of fixed-blades!

That looks to be quite the ergonomic fixed blade. Nothing like a nice bellied knife. I enjoy fixed blades quite a bit on weekends.

Carrying the Scout today.

Bob - It is so great to see you back on the porch my friend :) That is a beautiful Scout :thumbup:

Ron - very nice. You've inspired me to carry my new 48 today.

Stephen - I can only say that I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am mine. I have never carried a 48 before and I like it a lot.
I will admit this has got me thinking a lot about a Northwoods Hawthorne :D

David - That is a great pair you chose for today :thumbup:

Is this the 62? Do you have more pictures of this knife? That stag is beautiful. I'm not a big stag fan, but this is just fantastic.

Thanks. It's the #62 Maverick. And one of my favorites, for sure.

In fact, I'm carrying it again today.

Wise decision. If I ever get word of where you keep that thing I'll be carrying it every day myself. :p That there is a knife worth going to jail for.
