This thread is RIDICULOUS!!

:thumbup::thumbup:

I get too busy at work and miss a couple of days, and there are just so many fantastic knives that show up here that I can't really catch up!

Maybe I'll have to go back to the blissfully ignorant days when I never looked at this thread.

Anyway, a few reactions to almost randomly chosen posts from the past 36 hours or so.
Stupendous knife, Chief!! And this photo doesn't even show the incredible coining you displayed in a later photo. :thumbup::thumbup:
Speaking of coined liners...
...I've been walking around on a cloud since yesterday, after receiving a package from Stephen ('Old & In The Way'). As well as a handwritten letter, 2 beautiful old Sheffield folders, and a 1922 Peace silver dollar, there was this fabulous Todd Davison, which Stephen had specially commissioned for me. I'm absolutely over the moon, and think it's the most perfectly-made knife I've ever seen. Even if I AM dreaming, I'd be a fool not to carry it today wouldn't I?!
Thanks Stephen, for being such a thoughtful and generous friend
And Mr Davison for making such a superb knife :thumbup:
...
Speaking of coining on the liners, that's an outstanding photo of a gorgeous knife, Jack! I can see why you're "in the Cloud".

Incredibly generous gift of a stunningly beautiful knife to a guy who can really appreciate it. Way to go, Stephen! :thumbup:

:thumbup:
Thanks, Old & In The Way! Appreciate it. I'll be carrying the same trio tomorrow, unless I decide on a different "orthodox" traditional.
(and I do mean to use the word orthodox, as in fitting with the traditional literature. I predict my GEC #33, #77, or my Queen Utility #11)
EDIT: added Oxford comma, cause I ain't no barbarian.
Not really knife-related, but I certainly appreciate the sentiment of this punctuation pronouncement!

fresh from the envelope
I don't know what this knife is, but I do know it looks good to me! Congrats, rinos! :thumbup::thumbup:
That's a show-stopper right there! Powerful pic, HOKIE_FAN!

Have not carried any of my Case knives for a while, so I thought I should.
That lanyard is marvelous with the chestnut bone! WOW!!

:thumbup::thumbup:
Thank you Rob. This knife is making me feel better. :thumbup: I put a nice edge on it today while sitting out on the deck. Stropping is good therapy.
Great to hear, Bob! Keep on keepin' on.

I just added this RR sowbelly in genuine burnt stag to the day's ensemble.
I love my RR sowbelly, but I had no idea they'd ever made stag covers!!

How long ago was that?? VERY appealing knife!
This turned up at long last last night.
Well worth the wait in my view.
Thanks, Will
Glad it finally arrived, Will. Those 38s are something else!!

:thumbup:
John Lloyd covered in bull horn.
HOLY BULL HORN!! That knife is dynamite, Mark!! Blows me away!
