What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice Will, I got to handle a 25 for the first time a couple of days ago, that's a great little knife!
I was very lucky to win this on a GAW a year ago and I've been very pleased to use it frequently.

For me today..............

Bark River City Knife and a Farmer. I have this idea about how useful carrying a small fixed blade should be, but I never could stick with it for long. Need to re-double my efforts.

The biggest hurdle for carrying a fixed blade is the right sheath. I've found horizontal sheaths work really well and are unnoticed by most folks. Pocket carry is not my favorite option. Burt Foster makes a fabulous wrap around sheath for his Personal models, by far my favorite method of carrying a fixed blade. Of course you have to spend the $600 and up for the knife to get the sheath :)

Thanks JB. Those are very nice sheaths, but agree the price is a little steep :). I like the idea of horizontal on a belt as opposed to pocket carry, I am considering having a custom sheath made.

I thnk a horizontal belt carry will change your thinking towards carrying a fixed blade.

With a pocket sheath, you have to remove the sheath and knife from the pocket, remove the knife from the sheath to use, then figure out what to do with the sheath.

Makes for a complex mode of carry....
