:thumbup::thumbup: I am sold now, looks great to me.Thanks, Tom. It is the Mini Canadian, with natural canvas handles and red liners. Probably my favorite small Barkie, for its versatility and ability to do more work than its size might suggest. I like that if needed, I can 'choke up' on it and get all four fingers on the handle. And I really like the way natural canvas develops that warm color with use.
That Case/Bose really helped out with the color and composition too, what a great photo Primble43 nice gills will make a couple fine dinners for me. The Case/Bose helped out today:

Wicked, do show what you do with the hide afterwardsNice collection of arrowheads as well
They were called "Trim-trios" around here. I have a few, one still stuck to its card.
There must have been a lot produced as they turn up pretty regularly even over here. I have at least one, just marked'USA' I think
I only had a couple of hour's sleep last night, so feeling pretty rough today. Have to stay in for roofers coming to fix my roof too, so I think I'm going to be stuck in all day. Slipping my WLST in my pocket

What a beautiful stout barlow. Reminds me of a good brew. Wish they made more runs of the tidioute 25 barlows.
Thanks Tim, gifted to me by our man on the Isle of Harris, PMEW![]()
Thank you akula83 !!! I'm liking this 73 so much, I'd be interested in a single blade (drop or clip) 72 lockback when they hit again.
I steered away from a 73 linerlock because the half-stop and pull is the same as a 73 slipjoint. Other than that, the 73 "L's" are just as beautiful.
Come on Tim....post a picture of the whole bike...I don't see any pushrods so it's not HD but that's OK with me!
I'm carrying the ebony 77 today and working on waterproofing the sheath on my new custom from Leif Lambertson (Leiflj on here). He was an absolute pleasure to work with and a great guy. Blade is 52100, tapered tang, Bocote scales over orange and black G10 liners with carbon fiber pins. He handmade the leather basket weave sheath as well. I can't wait until hunting season to use it. This knife is very light and thin...which means it came light-saber sharp. Big thanks to Leif!
