Looks like somebody had an Alox and TC party. My son has the same OD green Messer as you have there. He swears by it. Maybe 'cause his Dad gave it to him.

Dean, that Messer has been in my possession for around 2 months trying to straighten a kink from when it was carried after it was issued. This steel is so resistant to straightening efforts.

Stephen that is a beauty! I've never thought to look into it, but are those etched or stamped? Either way great carry.

Thanks Brett. :) It's etched.

This one today for me..

So I read the rules again and can't quite decide if this is a "traditional", but the patent is from the 60s and I figured y'all would enjoy it, so here it it. My new, pretty beat up, Barry Wood. I love this knife and got it cheaper than I imagined. My dad used to have the colt version I remember playing with as a kid and he later traded it for a randall. Such a cool, unique knife to me. Pretty micarta too. May try to fix it up a little

This is how Arkansas knife nuts have dinner. Always a good time with good people. Thanks for the assist on the GAK, Chris. We need to do this more often.

Thanks for all the comments on the Ohta. Believe it or not, the pile side is even more spectacular than the presentation side. After drooling over all y'all's pictures for the past year or two, I've finally decided to take some pictures of my knives. I think I'm appreciating them even more now that I'm taking to time to photograph them.
