What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I picked up a Case large Gunstock from the Case Brothers run back in 2003. It has chestnut bone handles, along with strong walk and talk, and razor sharp blades out of the box.:)

Yeah, the last two Cases I've bought have actually had pretty darn sharp blades out of the box. Not always the case with Case in my experience. Maybe their getting better QC before they go out. Actually one of 'em was a Case Bros. barlow pattern. I read your other post as well, Longhorn is a GREAT knife, good catch.

is that a carbon steel? what´s the model number? I'm a boker classic lockback fan.

Yep, QC at Case has improved as has the product. I've purchased over a dozen Case knives in the past 5 years and never had a problem with any of them, and they all came very sharp out of the box.

I got lucky on the Gunstock and the Longhorn as I caught them both with a steep discount!:)

Taking my GEC #62 for a spin today. Since I just drop all my knives in my front pocket with keys and change it will be interesting to see how the Snakewood ages.

I really like that snakewood. I hope to pick up a Northfield with it eventually. Just need to decide on a pattern and come up with the $$$.

Tomsch that snakewood looks good, I really like the #62. Actually ordered one in rams horn yesterday, my first GEC in a LONG time  I've been carrying my T.A. Davison swayback in ironwood for the past few days.

Mmmm Mmmm mmmmm. I love it. That is the GEC I am currently trying to figure out how to get.

Been packing this Buck 110 lately. After watching a couple seasons of The Dukes Of Hazzard again recently, I decided if Bo and Luke can get by with them, so can I...:D

No matter how many times I see the 2010 forum knife it never ceases to impress me...mine is 13,000 miles away waiting for me to start working on that patina only everyday use can provide. It is an itch I can't wait to scratch.

I'm carrying my Case SBJ today. The mini copperhead is sitting on the shelf; it just doesn't look right there. - Ed

Driving to Pacific Grove (CA) for the weekend so I'm taking my easy to carry, do-all Uncle Henry stockman. Just put a hair popping edge on all three blades.
