This GEC Northfield Harness Jack is in my pocket this weekend. The 1095 blade has developed a nice patina since I bought it this past November and posted about it at the time.

While I sat in Denver I must have picked up some kind of flu bug. I'm now in Mississippi but I feel like I've aged fifty years this week.
That said I figured it was only right to put a couple of Old Timers in my pockets.

I really like that gunstock also, Black Mamba. And it is not just the blade. It really has a winning combination of blade, bone and bolsters. The Triple B Cup?

Seeing that gunstock made me want to drop this one in my pocket just for today. Every knife deserves some pocket time. Of course mine is bent. (Menefee Made)

Today's blade is my Seahorse in harvest orange. (I did a little review for this one on my whittlin' blog)

I looked at the Loewen Messer catalog and they have some nice working knives. I really like those wooden handles. Anyone know what type of wood it is?

Today it is the KH serpentine trapper as usual nowadays.

Old and broken, you must feel bad... :D JK Hope you get to feelin better Mack. Its bad enough being sick, but even worse when you are sick, and stuck in a truck ...

Thats a fine lookin KH Luciano

Today I carried my two new traditional knives:

- Case Trapper Old red Bone (CV)
- Rough Rider Confress Orange Smooth Bone

I like both, but the RR is a little bit hard to open, but by using is, it would be ok...

Kind regards...

Luciano, I drool every time I see that KH!

It has been the Dowell slimline for me since I got it a few days ago.

Nick, I never tire of looking at your Dowell slimline. I think I know what knife I want when my name comes up on Bret's list.

I picked up the little RR congress whittler today and left my mch on the shelf. It's a similar size, so no need to carry them both. A pretty handy little knife in its own right.
