What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Paul - That is a wonderfully cool pair:cool: And very colorful to boot!

Thank you Ron:thumbup:

Thank you Paul and the yellow and blue look super together ! Add some neutral to those colors and you might end up with ND colors ! ;):D:D:D

Rob, I tell people who pass through ND, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder:D

Paul - wonderful blue and yellow pairing today; reminds me of my high school football uniform which was technically suppose to be blue and gold, but the gold was actually yellow. Very cool knives.

Thanks Stephen, my Art teacher always said "blue and yellow make green" I loved Art class, the best part was I got to sit between the McGee twins:cool::o

The old Robeson Jack

Nice Gev, must be sharp from all those shavings:thumbup:

This one, as I had previously guessed ;)

G2

Great Bose Gary:cool:

What kind of knot is this? Looks nice and compact.

Thanks ghorn, not sure of the actual name, but I tied it from a tutorial on the Chris Reeves website:)

As usual, a terrific twosome, Tom! I love that sheath you have, too; that goes in your pocket, right? Or do you wear it on your belt? "A Radio Jack kind of evening"?? I don't know if I should say, "Way to go!" or "Sorry to hear that!";)

Sorry I missed this yesterday GT, that sheath goes in my pocket (right front). There is a slot for the folder and a second for the fixed. Works very well for me, most of the time ;).

"Way to go" would be more in order for my Radio Jack night, I got a promotion I have been working hard to earn for the last year and a half. My RJ was used to decapitate some cold brews while celebrating with some close friends last night. :D

The Recruit I carried yesterday and today.

You win the lanyard award of 2015.

I received my first #22 (smooth natural bone) and Esquire (ebony) today. I've been fiddling with them most of the evening, while packing for yet another business trip and, later in the week, Blade Show.

Consternation struck me when I pondered if I'd actually carry my Peanut again. Fortuitously the Peanut will stay in the stable for now as I rather enjoy the smaller slippies paired with a mid to large modern folder.

Thanks again to all of you for the wonderful whit, charm, and of course pictures. It makes life on the road more bearable.

I'll get some new pics up soon. I'm delinquent yet again!

I sincerely hope everyone has an amazing weekend.

Thanks Jack!

That scout knife is a Primble I bought at a knife show a while back for a pittance. It is stamped BelKnap, but I am unsure of the age of it. What struck me about this particular knife was that it had been well sharpened, and well cared for, but also used a great deal. Someone definitely carried this for a long time before me. It still has a lot of life left in it, and is a joy to use. It is fun for me to get to carry a classic like this that someone else really appreciated in a different era.

To get a fixed blade to work for me on a daily basis I had to get a pocket sheath. I'd prefer to belt carry but that isn't feasable for me, especially at work. The pocket sheath felt a little wierd at first, but now it is just as comfortable as carrying a wallet. For me anyway :)

So do you back pocket that sheath? No issues with bending a tip on the fixed blades? Can you tell me who makes the double carry sheathes? They are beautiful!

I´m going to have a homemade pizza for lunch in a few minutes. Gonna go to the fire range in an hour.

Eureka Jack will be with me today!

Just got this little rough rider peanut yesterday. I've been carrying a case chestnut bone peanut in my watch pocket for several months now but the South Carolina humidity and heat has me worried about rust. I swear like crazy and that thing has pretty much stayed wet. So now I got it a SS cousin to carry around during the summer.

Got this in yesterday and carrying it today. Making some wood shavings for the next bonfire of the Summer season.

I really like the pinched bolsters on the Keen Kutter Rob. I think someone needs to replicate that on a new Barlow. I know Evan has done it on his customs.
