Always appreciated GT ! :thumbup::)

Nice dogs head Jim ! :thumbup::)

Wow guys and gals I just don't get to log on as often as I'd like lately but...

Rob, Bob, Pete, Andi, Stephen, Gev, David, Tim, A.L., Jack and others I'll forget to mention...always great knives:thumbup:

The #38 has really caught my attention of late, paired with a green ALOX Farmer today...

Nicely pictured Paul ! :thumbup::)

In keeping with my "Wooden Week" theme :D

Very nice wood Ron ! :thumbup::thumbup:

Carried this one today because tomorrow it is being sent to my brother George in Lamb , Indiana. I still have another one just like it and I owe him a good knife.
Harry

Great knife for a gift Harry. :thumbup::thumbup:

Well, I hate that I missed it the first go round, but am happy to see the photos of it today. Very nice example. :thumbup:

Thank you again OW. :thumbup:;)

Primble
I carry the Case more often then I post pictures of it. It was my only GAW win and from Kris. Of course he has great taste in Damascus. Pete sent me a sheath for it as a gift. I treasure them both.

It deserves to be carried - fantastic knife !!! :thumbup::thumbup::D

Thanks guys!!

Good looking Mercartor, and in brass no less for a patina
Now..is that a corgi I spy :O

I might be wrong, but it seems like the handles have coating of some sort.. it sure feels/looks like it. I did not see any kind of discoloration. And yea, you were right about the Corgi. :)

i have always loved the Tuna Valley knives for their "custom" features. Qualities that stand out to me are the slanted bolster and the shape of the blades, to name a few. I hope to watch this one develop a nice earned patina:D

Thanks, paulhilborn and Gevonovich!

With 154CM blades I don't expect a patina, but I can guarantee some good pocket and use wear -- it's been my constant companion since it arrived! :)

Going to carry this fantastic old Schrade-Walden 294 that I was gifted with here on Blade Traditional's in a GAW. OH

Thanks Ryan. Yes, I really like the big fixed blade. It took an hour to get a razor sharp edge on the 01 steel. That knife will cut through anything I use it on with ease and it is very well balanced and comfortable. :)

Here is a view from the top
