What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I picked this one up used a little while ago, thought I'd give it a try today.

Also still trying to get this little fixed blade from going sideways in pocket. I might make one of those wide, wallety type sheaths. For now, I wadded up a handkerchief next to it in my back pocket. Might be making my butt look big. :o

Forgot my main carry this morning so the backup was all I had. Will have to pick one up from home at lunch. Hope I'll get by lol

Great photo , I like your Browning. The wider pocket sheaths work well for me, and tend to keep everything oriented correctly. Felt a little odd at first, but now I feel strange if I don't have a pocket sheath in my right front :). Today:

That scout kills me every time. After getting lost at the PO for a few days, it looks like my mystery scout will arrive this afternoon!

I'm totin' the Fremont today, still riding the fence on whether or not to sell it. I haven't bonded with the Cocobolo in the same way as the Calico Bone Fremont that I foolishly sold.

That is the refurbishment project knife, correct? I love work-in-process and before/after mod project photos. :)

yep, that's the one. I plan to update that other thread when I get it and start work on it. I don't know how many in-progress pics I'll take, but there will definitely be a before and after.

A great old NYKC!! Your fixed blade came out sweet! Did you contour one side of the handle different than the other? Or is this just the light. Looks like the perfect camp slicer!!

Thanks Gevo! :D The contour is the same on both sides. I took the picture close to sundown so it is the light giving it the illusion that they are different.

Always carry a backup  I like the Manager myself because the blade opens away from the keys and it has a bottle opener and a pen to write with. Always have it with me unless knives are prohibited. Today, it's accompanying my Queen #51 Jack

Enjoying the old with the new. My father's Officer Suisse SAK 1970's era x 2014 77 Stag for the past couple of days straight.

VERY nice stag, Jack! It was also part of an impressive two-stag day last week, wasn't it? I remember noting the stag pair with admiration, but not taking the time to publicly acknowledge it! :o

Thanks GT, that's the one, Arthur Wright of Sheffield :)

Wow guys and gals I just don't get to log on as often as I'd like lately but...

Rob, Bob, Pete, Andi, Stephen, Gev, David, Tim, A.L., Jack and others I'll forget to mention...always great knives:thumbup:

The #38 has really caught my attention of late, paired with a green ALOX Farmer today...

Thanks Paul, nice combination, and an excellent pic my friend

Carried this one today because tomorrow it is being sent to my brother George in Lamb , Indiana. I still have another one just like it and I owe him a good knife.

That's a beauty Harry, I'm sure your brother will be thrilled

Jack
The Wright is a classy carry! Hope your day went well, Sir!

Thank you pal, certainly a lot better than today has been (been one of those days)!

As the kids say, "that's cool beans!" :)

And the kids would know! :D

Going to carry this fantastic old Schrade-Walden 294 that I was gifted with here on Blade Traditional's in a GAW. OH

Very nice indeed :)

Have you thought about fitting a cord like on your folder sheaths r8shell? Sometimes I carry a small FB like that, either in my front pocket suspended from belt or belt-loop, or tucked in my waist-band with a tether round my belt

I was hoping to get some more pics of my Davison today, but had so many mishaps, disasters, bad news, and general %$&*@# that I gave up on that idea! :grumpy: Was glad to have it with me though :)
