What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This Scagel Fruitport today.
IMAG0973.jpg

maybe it's the modern folder boy left in me but I do like the easy opening pull on those Scagels :D Only wish I had been into traditionals in the period where they were available.

Some great looking fixed blades roaming the thread today! Congrats Primble on the Humphrey knives! That Brute de Forge style is really stunning (and so comfortable too)! I've been trying to get my hands on one for those for awhile.:cool:

Gevo...is that "Ghost Jade" for the handle material? Whatever it is, it looks fantastic!

A little disappointed as I have never been here, but at least I now have. You think they would at least know what steel a knife is made of. A lot to look at but not a lot to buy.

Im thinking of taking the 73 to this tree in front of my view. Still not to bad though. Ah how I envy you all who live in the mountains, especially the Rockies.

And, er, this one as well through most of the day, in case a screwdriver was needed:

Kris, I'm rootin' for the 'Hawks, too. Toews is really on a roll! I switched to my modified Eureka jack this afternoon.

Beautiful Vince. Bret just makes those joints disappear giving the appearance of a fixed blade.

There are some wonderful knives being posted today!

To Jack, Eric, and Trand - thank you for the kind words on my Schrade-Walden and to Brett, thank you again for the beautiful knife. OH

These as always lately, but note that I've finally replaced the shield on the Boker USA. (Head of a roofing nail)

Thank you my friend. That is a beauty you are totin' !:thumbup::) (BTW, are you stalking my pics lately?:eek::D:D:D)

P.S. - if you are, I am enjoying it. ;):D

Primble, those are some mighty fine looking knives!! Did they come with sheaths?

Good looking pair Primble, do tell how you like them in time. I'm a fan of any maker who still forges their blades. I thought long and hard about one of Lon's fixed blades but settled on a BRK adventurer (a nod to Murray Carter as a Yoshimoto bladesmith) instead for motorcycle carry..

Thank you and will do. ;)

Rob, two beauties in their own right but man you make knives look AMAZING!!!
Oiled bone Fremont Jack along with orange ALOX Rancher for my carry today:thumbup:

Um0Vx4.jpg

Beautiful pair Paul and nicely pictured. I know what some say at times about my pics, but, I promise you that I had a difficult time capturing the beauty of the LH knives. They actually look better in person, IMO. ;)

Nice knives today, guys! Primble & Gevo, I love those Humphrey's.

Thank you Gary. I like the Scagel a lot.:thumbup::)

Among the knives I'm carrying this week are all the Cases I own (thanks to Bob, Paul, Cory, and some lady named Luck):

- GT

That is a fine trio of Cases GT !!!:)

Primble... I have owned several Humphrey knives over the years. In fact, his was my first real custom knife. Now I have bunches of fixed blades and I still have one of his... the Muley and I love it!!! Great choice. BTW... she is missing her "mouse chewed" friend. :-(

Blessings
Todd

A fine pair there Todd !! I will try to get a pic of my Muley with the mouse knife soon - just to aggravate things a bit. ;);):D

Some beauties today by everyone:cool: In honor of Tidioute and Wooden Wednesday :D

Very nice wood and pic Ron.:)
