The peachseed jigged was my very first GEC Shane, it's a great viper/definitely provides traction with those covers. They ground the blades super thin on those too.

Thanks Erik. Nice Cam there too. The bone for that Knife came from a 1940-65 Case Barlow that barely had any blade left. The Blades came from a 70's delrin case Barlow. I managed the organ transplant.

Here is my contribution to cutting tools today!
Catching up on the thread and way too many wonderful knives to comment on but there is not a one I didn't admire![]()
A Scout and Dutch Bros type of day for me
Congrats on concluding a successful search, Jordan; that's a fine-looking specimen!!:thumbup: Are the handles actually jigged wood, or have "life experiences" given the scales a textured look?

Beautiful knife there GEV!
Gev, that's a complete show-stopper for me!!I've been looking for a special 30th wedding anniversary knife for over a month now, and one of the top contenders is a 2-bladed toothpick in stag, so when I see one, it definitely grabs my attention! Can you provide any details on that knife, including the name you gave it? Is it a GEC Powderhorn, or a completely different model? Just an incredible knife, sir!:thumbup::thumbup: I think it will definitely give me a "Platonic ideal" I can compare my search results to!

Nice pairing, Tom
Rooster Cogburn today

I like the blend of uniformity and diversity in your daily carry, Tom!! A fixed blade and a folder each day, but what a variety of each you have to choose from!!![]()
Again, a plethora of fine cutlery shown here today...like Drew mentioned...so many to mention:thumbup:
I am truly impressed with the #38, tried to swap out yesterday with the Fremont but the "Lick Creek" was back again today. Paired with a burgandy Soldier
