What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

...

Fantastic photo of an equally fantastic knife.

Thanks Stephen, it's been a great find, I forgot to take a before image of the blade, but I do like this clip point version better ;)

Felt like something old today:

It must be redundant Rob, but your pictures are STUNNING, I mean of course you have great subject matter but the knife looks so deep and rich with color...can you imagine the miracle you could work at the DMV, people would actually be happy showing their drivers license picture:D:thumbup:

Thanks Ron and Tim. I appreciate that.

Paul - Now that shot seems like a great day is happening; Feet proped up, what looks to be an iced tea, and a 73 with developing patina. Doesn't get much better.

Your right Brett, a nice way to slip from a good hard day into night, fantastic vintage CASE "nut" you acquired earlier...CASE could do red bone;)

And...the Dunlap again :)

NEVER tire of looking at that David, beautiful knife my friend:thumbup:

One of my favorite single blade knives Jim, now all I need to do is score one:thumbup::p

Hope everyone has a great weekend! 82 in ebony riding along in the pocket today.

Wow! You folks really pulled out all the stops today, some absolutely stunning carries! :)

Woah there Jack. That is something I've never seen come out of a TA DAVISON. What pattern would that be classified as? I love the swedged wharnsheepscliffe with the long pull (I don't see Todd do those often either). b e a u t i f u l :D

I really like the alternate blade. Great buy!

Thanks guys, it was gifted to me by Stephen (Old & In The Way), who asked Todd to make me a Lambsfoot :)

Cool pic Donn (I have a copy of that too), hope you had a good laze! :D

What a beauty

And another! :)

Jack - I hope you have a good weekend too my friend. :)

Thanks Stephen, I spent the afternoon at Leeds Waterfront Festival, and than went to see the new Mad Max film! :D

I think I'll hit up a few antique malls and junk shops today, and like attracts like, so I'll carry this beat up Barlow. There's no snap to the main blade, but it stays put and is good enough for light use.

Nice :) Hope you had a good hunt

Someone loves you Tim! :D :)

Tim - I promise I didn't steal your pup. Somehow or another when Jack copied your dog my name came up as the orginal. :D

Great pic Brett. I cannot wait for my Lon Humphrey knife to show up. the other thread on Lon's knives here made me not be able to resist getting one. : )

Haha Brett I didn't even catch that. I'd gladly let him live with you for a while, you might find your pantry become barren of food though. :o

Still carrying these 2 today . The 77 has been my EDC since I received it and the 73 has also been in my pocket since I received it.

G.T. :The Background Boards are actually a side of an old box that was in the house we bought in 1973 and when we built a new house , I brought it with us. I know nothing about the company mentioned. I just thought it somewhat appropriate for a background for something that chops..

Very nice picture of one of my favorite Barlows. Well made and with long pull . We will be going to the big flea market here tomorrow in search of some more older one.

Awesome Phil! Congrats. I fought the resistance after seeing Smithhammer's (Haven't seen him in a while ) Muley. The Whitetail just won over though. Hope to hear hear your thoughts and see a few pics in the Humphrey thread when it arrives.

Thanks. I did find something interesting, a gigantic hobo-camper made in Japan. It's big and unwieldy, but kind of fun. Like the Mad Max movie. :D
