What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This arrived...hmm yesterday now! hah but it will be carried along tomorrow, a really nice SAK Pioneer in Black Alox, I don't know if it's just me, but the blade's profile seems more pointy than before?
In any event, it sharpened up like wicked crazy !

Gotta like those elegant, efficient black Pioneers!:thumbup: I should carry mine more often, but it seems unable to displace my Electrician. :o

...
Stockman for me again.
...
Dave, your yellow stockman is nice, but I have trouble focusing on it with all those distracting beauties under glass! :D:thumbup:

...Off to the docs this morning for a routine check-up. Thought I'd carry my Kastor Doctor's Knife :)
...
Venerable handles on that one, Jack!:thumbup: Hope the check-up was as routine as advertised.

...
After viewing this thread above about 'the unassuming penknife' the name of the game today is penknife usage on this wonderful 56 Dogleg Jack. Not carrying the tramontina ;), just left it out on the balcony coffee table this morn
...
Hope your pen blade experiment goes well today, Tim. ;):D

Middle knife.
...
Wooden Wednesday, y'all.

~ P.
Wow, you have quite the battalion of caplifters at your disposal, Sarah!:D

How about Wharncliffe Whittler Wednesday?
...
Stupendous stag, Dan!:thumbup: I like the WWW you propose, but a WWWW, with a wooden wharncliffe whittler for Wednesday, would be even better. ;)

Wooden Wednesday!!!!
...
Definitely wooden, Jake, and definitely devastating!:cool:

Here it is Wednesday already, and I don't think I've yet posted any of the knives I'm carrying this week. They include a couple from davek14, an Imperial toothpick and a 34OT.

Today my daughter is coming home from Spain to visit for a month, and I always carry one of the knives I got when I visited her in Spain. This week it's my JJ Martinez "Spanish sodbuster".

Thanks GT :) Yes my friend, all good apart from the hour I had to spend in the waiting room! :grumpy: ;)

Hope you have a wonderful time with your daughter, she's going to be tired after that long flight :) Once again, I must admire your Senor Martinez :)

I like that sodbuster GT. What wood is that?
Thanks, Jake. :) In online sources, I've seen the wood referred to as either bubinga or simply tropical timber; these are Spanish webpages translated to English, so I don't know how accurate the translation is. (But I've searched for "bubinga" and found that its range is "equatorial Africa", so I've got that going for me :D)

What yah been using that on?! Looks like a beaut!
Thanks!
I cut up an apple on the first day to start getting it to darken.
And then I cut up a "sloppy Joe potsticker" that I bought at the cafeteria at work, which had alot of peppers and onions in it. That darkened it alot.
And then before I took this picture, I cut a burger and a pickle with it.
Doesn't sound like much does it? I don't think it does. I'm really surprised it patina'd like it did, but happy at the speed of the coloration.

Man there are some great looking knives in here!

I've got my scout with me again today. Been helping out in the kitchen.
