Thats almost like a weatherreport. Humid uotside today?

As I had my Case medium stockman misslayed last week when I travelled to the mountains I had to live one week with just a trapper. That was for sure enough and even nice but no way Im leaving home this week without my CV stockman.

I had to laugh; Blues is "slumming" it today. Not that there's anything wrong with a 301, it's just that if I had his collection, I'd never look at a 301 again. It'd be like Jay Leno driving a Geo Metro to work.

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't...;)

(Besides, I like my production knives. It's where I started and I can't recall my grandfather ever handing me a custom knife. I don't think he'd probably ever seen or had one.)

There is much in knifes that is about other things than walue and beauty. I can for sure joke about things sometimes but two of my most simple knifes EKA 38 with plastic scales, yellow and orange would be the last ones to leave me. It was the two folders that came first to me and my brother as young boys. Preasus to me beyond reason. I carryed the orange one at my weding day to open the gifts. I could have done much better if I wanted people to know how nice knifes I own but this was for my feeling to have my brother with me that day.

Queen single bladed jack today. I'm moving into a new house so this is getting a hard work-out today. So far with all the hard use the blade wobble I fixed continues to stay away.

Rat, didn't know that knife came in those scales, sounds good too.

Today, Böker Whittler in Appaloosa Bone. It normally lives in the car but fancied a pocket trip today. Very nice compact pattern, well made and rather neglected.

Elliott, now that I saw you have a 301 I have to get one too LOOOL

kidding but I have to try a buck slippie one day, I see many around (just don't like saber grinds much)

for me it's like in the last days the 6347 stockman in molasses, stainless due to a rainy day, very rainy day you have to cut the drops to keep walking...
still carries well or maybe even better, starting to like the pattern..

I went with this Tidioute #73 pattern Jack knife today. Razor sharp 1095 blades.

Hemlock Green bone, and yes, the nicks are arranged to my liking (GEC made a few this way).

today i carried my large black case sodbuster on my belt, and my yella cv peanut in my right front pocket, and i took notice of the day when i got in the truck to come home from work and realized i had not once pulled the sodbuster out of it's sheath, i had used the peanut for all of my cutting chores throughout the day. so in light of what happened today, tomorrow i shall carry only my yella cv peanut to work, and see if i miss the big blade.

thanks
sam
