What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

:) Thank you! It's actually a Spartan because it has back tools (you can't see) and one is a corkscrew! A nice little knife that will still do many tasks.

That Forum knife is very very beautiful GT...congrats!!! I regret not getting one but all the stuff with my Dad had me focused on other priorities. I'll look for one but am not optimistic.
Thanks for the correction. I'm a Tinker guy rather than a Spartan fan, just because I find more uses for the Phillips than the corkscrew. :)
Thanks for the compliment on the Forum knife. Good luck in your search for a 2014 Forum knife; it seems like they come up for sale now and then, but you have to be in the right place at the right time.

GT - I appreciate that buddy. Now, if I could only find the last two 73s Im looking for, it really would be a sunny day. :D

All the best
Good luck on your 73 search! Your quest for "meaningful" numbers on your knives is very cool!:cool:

Thanks GT, it didn't quite go to plan, but then the best adventures never do! ;) The book-holder would come in handy for me too, it's from a 19th century book I have with old inventions included :D Glad to hear your 85 is going to be OK
...
These two for me today :) Have a great Sunday everyone

Thanks, Jack! I like your "odd couple" for today's carry.:D:thumbup:

Paul
Fantastic carries yesterday...they compliment each other perfectly

Gev - That is a beautiful old Hawk lurking in the shadows! :)

It is usually in the shadows and needed some time in the Sun. Thanks, my friend! The 56 is dog gone nice!!:D

Very nice Gevo!!!! I can see why you would use it in the garden.

Harry

I always appteciate your kindness, Harry!! Thank you:D

Gary
You compositions just keep getting better, Sir!!

Jeff
Kate is looking mighty fine:D

Primble
Going Lonesome Dove on us! Enjoying the show...wow!

INFK
I sure do like that....well done!

Wondrous photo after wondrous photo today!!! Can't quote em all, but I want to;)

GT That re-handle job is a Masterclass, given me ideas for my Moki.....I:thumbup: think the 14 Forum Knife was the best so far and I was particularly lucky with the stag I got but it would've looked even better as Barehead (but then, most knives do )

Regards, Will

Sweet knife, Bob!

That's a splendid knife and pic, Drew!

Glad to see you had time to post, Paul, and hope you're right about participating more later! I've been amazed by your (and all the other) stag 73s whose photos have been gracing the Forum all summer!!

Stunning stag, Harry!

Love your "camo", Will; just astounding stag on that lockback!

Always enjoy seeing your beloved George, Rachel!!

Great to see a prime example of applied statistics improving our lives!! Fantastic pic of your Scout, Erik!

What a fabulous knife, sturzi; I can see how that one could broaden someone's horizons!

Always enjoy seeing that old friend of yours, Andi!!

+ 5K! I totally agree with the philosophy you express here, John! And I also affirm the quality of all 5 knives you've selected!

Have a great adventure, Jack; your trip can hardly be other than satisfying with the scratted bone in your pocket! (Gotta get me one of those book-holders!!)

Wow, that's a beauty! Can you give us some details about that knife, please?

Is that one of the new Taylor Schrade canoes? I'm seriously considering getting one of those. How do you like yours?

Work is really busy these days, so I'm not posting as much as I'd like to (which may be a relief to the rest of you :p), but I still try to at least READ quite a few posts each day. Thanks for all the interesting posts everyone makes!

This LF&C from Markesharp (anyone know what he's up to these days?) has handled most of my cutting needs this week.

I've also been totin' a RR Scout and an 85 in buffalo horn (beautifully modded by Paul Hilborn) all week.

EDIT: I'm an idiot! :( While I was posting a photo of that astounding 85, one of my favorite knives and a grail knife for me, I was also apparently running the 85 and a leather pouch it was in through the washing machine after a hasty and defective pants-pocket emptying session!

Sorry, I just saw this. It's an old Camillus Moose.

Awesome images, Primble! Oh and excellent knives too!

Thanks, Primble! That old bamboo rod has seen some creek time. Fits right well with Charlie's Ancient Barlow I think.

Thank you Gary - I agree with your assessment of the rod and Ancient. :)

Just finished this sheep shear knife this morning. Since its raining all day, I'll be fondling it all day.

Very cool - looking at my old sheep shears hanging on a peg in my house. ;):D:D:D

Beautiful!

Rob, your fixed blade obsession is paying off for us and supplying some nice entertainment.

Going Lonesome Dove on us! Enjoying the show...wow!

Love this picture with the rifle in it.

Mark

Thank you Mark, Gevo, and MarkHC ! :)

You knocked it out of the park with this one, Rob!
I was feeling scratted today so I went with this. It's getting more pocket time lately and seems to be crossing over into the user camp.

Thank you Dean - I always like to see the Ancients !:)

Great carries everyone. Carrying my 73 in stag today......old pic

Pretty weak stag on that Mr. MIA.:eek:;):D:D:D What does 44 stand for ?:confused::confused::D
