Thanks, Jack! I like your "odd couple" for today's carry.:D:thumbup:

Thanks GT, 2 old patterns re-visited in different ways! :D

I have to agree!!! I almost missed this one somehow. Looks like home to it:D

Thanks guys, the photo is taken at Joshua Tyzack's old scythe works near Sheffield (Tyzack of the Triskellion mark). In the background is the huge Jessop tilt hammer :)

Looks great Jim

This 56 Dogleg Jack will probably handle anything I will need around the house today. ;) Have a great Sunday everyone! :)

Beautiful dogleg Ron, one should be here today for me as well..wharnie variety :D

This has been in my pocket all weekend, loving it as a worker. The joy in knives is in using them~

Seems to me that three-legged wheel is associated with the Isle of Mann, but I've also seen it on a Greek Syracusan coin.

I think I'm going to make this a wharncliffe week. I'll kick it off with a fine serpentine trapper from Craig Brewer.

I'd be interested to know what that levergun is, and what's the hasp-looking thing over the end of the lever.
Toting my Case Carhartt large stockman in G10, and a Vic exec on my keychain.

Winchester Model 1873. The "hasp" is the lever lock, which you turn 90 degrees to lock or unlock the lever.

For today, I think I'll carry my old standby duo. Case Small Texas Jack and Vic Alox Cadet.

My boy came home from college this weekend; and I told him, I had another thing that "I'm holding for him." He fell in love with the Willamette, instantly. Then he made guacamole with it and it made a colorful patina. Washed it with soap and water and good to go! Totally toting this guy today, reminiscing the weekend.

Nice knife from Mr. Brewer!

Guacamole patina has to be a first! I've got a couple of Avocados set aside for just that purpose. Those Willamette Whittlers are great.

In my pocket today.

In my haste to be on time to work this am, I took a less than quality picture of the Brewer earlier. Here's a better shot of the file work:
