What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

LOL Sean! I tried to say that three times and couldn't do it.:D

I edited in a few more lines while you were replying :p

Freddie Franks Found a Few Fantastic Fish on Friday, now Frozen.
Prior to that, Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Peppers to Pickle.
Meanwhile, Mark Makes Marvelous Mini Machetes as a Means to Make Mouthwatering Pickled Peppers from the Peck of Peppers Picked by Peter Piper.
Pickled Peppers Pair Perfectly with Fresh Fried Fish. A Magnificent Mixture when Masticated as an aMalgamation.

:p:D I might enjoy alliteration a bit too much.

I'm getting ready for the first duck hunt of the year tomorrow morning, and decided to carry this Rough Rider locking trapper: stainless, synthetic, rugged and sharp!

I have Beer Scouts in Chestnut Sawcut Bone and the Tortoise Shell Acrylic, but every time I see one in Cocobolo, I start thinking maybe I need a third... :)

I believe you do need one. :devilish:

eschwebach,

Awesome Beer Scout - is that Cocobolo wood? That blade combo is a great one.

Thank you AZ, it is cocobolo. Dark and rich... Good stuff!

Great picture, Erik!! Lovely knife!

Thank you Gev!

I'm going camping this evening so I grabbed the green monster to baton some trees.

Jk, was looking for my camillus scout/army knife I usually camp with and found the tiny terror and wanted to share it. I'm totin' the EDB for now.

I am finding it more difficult by the day to not purchase a cocobolo EDB. You are not helping. ;)

Ours had a soda fountain too. In those days anything from the fountain was a luxury normally beyond my means, but on rare occasions would enjoy a chocolate malt.

Okay, now you guys have my mind on the sundaes and malts that has been years since I've been able to get at the Rexall in my hometown of Akron In. Never found anywhere that the sundaes or malts are as good.

I'm in a quandary today.

Is it time to start a patina on my new Yellow Rose that Markesharp sent me? I know that yellow bone will look great with it. But I'll lose the Texas blade etch. :(

I've got a few more hours to decide 'til it's time to cut up some onions for the beans. (I'm on Jack's bean&toast-bought-too-many-knives diet) Rainy days call for cheerful yellow knives, so either way, I'll also have my peanut with me. :)
