What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I know you've had a hard week Kris, but hope your weekend has been OK my friend

Wonderful knives for a cold day Kris. I look forward to seeing pics of the Loveless DP when you get it. Hope you and your are warm and well. I carried my Douk Douk this morning, I will swap it out for Sunday afternoon service.

Thank you my friends, it has been a long week but all is well here. Our younger malamute, Cleo, has really stepped up and has been a real love. I will definitely show pics when I get it in my hands. A nice evening to you both.

Kris

This evening I picked up my recently acquired German made Winchester gunstock. A keeper, for sure!

Thanks Dean, I picked it for the color. I also agree with your comments. The Michigan makes a good utility task type cutter, but maybe not best for say apples. It would combo up nice with a SS slicer, or any nice slicer for that matter...

Bob,I like it as it is pretty much the same as my Broadway Jack only larger. I'm OK with the saber grind; however, I'm not doing any fine slicing or food prep with it (use my TC Barlow sheepfoot for the fine stuff). I couldn't use it as my only knife as the saber grind would be more difficult to sharpen (I would think) in the long term. The spine is pretty think, too.
Thanks Dean. I don't use my pocket knives for food prep anyways, but I still like a thin flat grind for the most part. So the jury will deliberate until I can give it a test run. ;)

Jeff, I don't blame you. That is a good looking gunstock and I'd pick it up often if it were in my collection.

This pattern rings a number of my chimes.

I can't get over the beauty of this...

Was deer hunting all weekend, took these two along for the ride. Didn't get a deer so you don't get to see my fixed blade, hopefully next weekend. :)

^^ Looking good Jack, I sure do like those scratted bone ancients!

Thanks my friend, the last time I let it in my pocket it wouldn't leave! :D That really is a lovely pattern, beautifully executed

Jack's scrat should carve some fat! Nice, Jack, and thanks for the compliment!

LOL! Thanks Jeff :D

Really nice Barlow Brian

I slipped an old and very worn IXL Saddlehorn Jack into my pocket alongside my Ancient today too, but realised I didn't have a pic for some reason :D Think the rotten weather here must be affecting my internet connection, taken ages to upload :( Here we go :)

Found a 1982 Buck Esquire that was still NIB. Carrying that today along with the SAK Cadet.
