Carrying my avatar canoe today. Top one in this photo and the backside that you haven't seen before:

Elliot, it looks like Case left a sharper tip on the main blade back then. One of my biggest complaints with Case now is how rounded their tips are. My 2004 Texas jack and 2010 backpocket both lack usable tips.
Here's what I pocketed today.

Nice jack Elliott. Is that stone in the picture for razors? I have a hone that I use for my straight that looks very similar.

Not my image, Christian. I purchased this knife secondhand from a fellow member a few years ago.

Have not carried my my Uncle Henry 897UH lately so when I boxed up my other knives for my move into the new house this one stayed in my pocket. Will likely be there for the rest of the week while we get everything moved and unpacked.

I had this Menefee Dogleg Jack with me
all day today. Still Menefee sharp.

Got my brand new Tidioute dog leg jack in my pocket today as I just unwrapped it. What an awesome knife, it's got the antique weaved jigged bone handles that are just beautiful.

I have carried my Fallkniven U2 a few days exclusively, oddly enough, I mostly carry it outside as a secound knife, but from today I,m back to my favorite knife the Case medium stockman vith CV, bonehandles and a pen blade. So nice configuration. I realy like the knifes I see built on that frame.

This one went into my pocket yesterday in anticipation of cutting out a bunch of little peices of paper to go into a hat:

ed, if i'm not mistaken you like canoes, and as always the avatar knife is beautiful.

thanks
sam

Sam, you are not mistaken. it is a pattern that I introduced myself to in about 2002 and have really enjoyed them. The pen blades on them are super handy for slicing cardboard, and the mains are also great slicers and big enough for pretty much anything anybody needs to do. They spread peanut butter on toast or a bagel really well too. My Mutz canoe is a perfect fit for me.

I've been on the short end of the bidding stick lately on my canoes so I don't have any really new ones right now.

I carried my Fight'n Rooster 4 blade canoe this morning until this sowbelly showed back up from its trip to Don Seals.
