Thanks for the Estonian butter knife info, Jack; very cool!
Thanks for the movie link (and the trailer in a later post). I stand by my original opinion: creepy (but kind of fascinating). I suppose your affinity for lambsfoot and sheepsfoot blades accounts for your attraction to this cinematic masterpiece? :D
Thanks for the compliments, too, sir! :)

Thanks GT, hope I'm not giving anyone nightmares! :D

Carrying this Rough Rider today. Lunchtime pint with a nice bowl of chowder :)

It has been awhile since I toted this #48, so here it is today! :D

I like that RR, Jack. Very festive! A lot of special touches for the price you pay.

That cranberry jigged bone is a beauty Ron I like that flat grey appearing on the blade.

Thanks a lot Tim! :)

Gev - Thanks, the #48 is a very appealing pattern :) a lot of blade in a slim easy to pocket folder! :D

Really loving that old pruner and that photo!!!:thumbup:

Thanks a lot for the compliments guys. I was ordering some items from one of the big UK retailers and this popped up on the screen, turned out they only had one or I'd have bought more! Rough Riders cost quite a bit more here than in the US, but I'm very impressed with the quality for the price. The model is RR987 Gev

Nice to see you Gold now :) Great looking Sportmesser, was wondering when you would post it up on the forums bud.

Thank you Tim. :) It feels good to be gold again! I get so lazy these days to post pics to the forums anymore. I used to dig my systems camera and flash back in the days and put some effort to it. :p I try to do it more in the future!

Gus
Wow ...that is a wonderful TC!!! One of the best I have seen!

Jack
Thank you for the number, sir!

Ron
I really appreciate the compliment on my pic, my friend!

Back from a last minute trip to the Mile High City, wonderful knives the past couple of days folks! Carrying the #77 today.

After feeling bleak like this pic...

I decided life is too short to not enjoy what one has, so I broke out a new piece last night...

I've been rubbing my flashlight like it is my worry stone, as some have stated out here about objects. I must say, the orange in the handles are like beams of sun in my face and I'm trying to hold it up high.

Here's a Le Thiers that Gary Graley put up on the Exchange a while ago. I really like this knife. I particularly like the locking arrangement on these. I'm curious what it's called. The spring has a protrusion that drops into a notch in the tang, when open. Similar to a lock back but without the release. It provides some extra protection to unintentional closing. You close it just like you would any slipjoint. It takes a little extra umph to disengage the lock.

Just picked this beauty up from the post this am...and into my pocket it went! This is a scaled down Jess Horn pocket fighter lockback that Joel Chamblin just finished up for me. I'll do a write up on this one later, as it certainly deserves it.
