What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Apocalypse Green Pruner the last couple of days, a lovely lightweight carry.

Great nesting of the blades on that one Jeff.

Real eye-opener of a green too, totally Acid stuff:D:D

Thanks so much for your comments and information, Gary and Will! I have been drooling over the Juniper and Birch for a long time:D

Thanks, Dean. :) That "convergent jigging" on your knife is really eye-catching!

- GT

Thanks, GT. I thought it was "divergent," must be a perspective kind of thing. :)

It has been awhile since I toted this #48, so here it is today! :D

Nice, Ron. I really like the color.

Just picked up a kill bill patch in the post this morn and sitting down with some tea and my Wiseman

Always nice to see that Wiseman, Tim. What is the kill bill patch? Was it something from the (giant traditional knife) movie?

Wonderful, Gus. I like the saw cut soup bone.

Che Chen Rosewood's today:

Oh my. I don't think I've seen that beauty before, Rob! TC and Che Chen; can it get any better?

Nice Yellow Rose Tascosa, Alan; and a great photo.

Today's carry.

Fine composition there Dean, the sabre grind looks very much at home with that streaked handle and notch.

Those Half-Crowns were big, English coin in those days was nearly all huge, just look at their Pennies and Cartwheel Twopences:eek::D

Thanks, Will. From my reading of different period literature, the Half-Crown was the big, everyday coin of commerce. Seems to go with rustic knives, too.

Thanks, Will, the green is pretty eye-catching!

BrotherJim, I really like the way your edge and swedge captured the light, nice pic!

Thank you sir. It's arm shaving sharp out of the box. I'm real happy with this one in spite of a little blade rap on the backspring ... that will eventually sharpen out of course.
And real sad too for Canal Street Cutlery. CSC was a bright moment in history. I'm at a loss for words to convey how profoundly sad I am about the closing of another American craftsmanship company.

Works been hectic the past few days, and I haven't had the time to snap any picture to contribute.
But at the end of a long hard day I really look forward to going through this thread regardless of whether or not I have anything to contribute.
The presidential has pretty much been my sole pocket knife this week.
I just got done cleaning the days debris out of the joints. I am really tempted to start using a slip again. That gritty feeling in the joints just makes me cringe but unfortunately is inevitable in my line of work. Photo conditions sucked so I decided to mess around with the editor.

I can not wait for the weekend!

Primble - Rosewood is a really beautiful handle material! :D

Nice, Ron. I really like the color.

Today's carry.

Dean - Nice Northwoods!

Beautiful example of the Forum knife !:thumbup::thumbup::)

Thank you Dean ! The Northwoods and coin are both very attractive.:)

I agree Ron. Hope you had a great day my friend ! :)

Very short on time today, didn't have time to take a pic, but just wanted to say WOW! What a show today, thank you everyone for posting and continuing to contribute to this fine community :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

As mentioned multiple times, that Chamblin is a true STUNNER. Congrats panther!

I haven't owned a ton of traditionals, especially compared to a lot of folks here. But this Centofante is quite possibly the finest knife I've ever owned, regardless of price or style. I'm immensely fortunate to have the privilege of carrying it. (thanks again Chuck ;))

That "thud" sound you just heard was my jaw hitting the floor. Super nice, Evan!

The Electrician was with me today.
