What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That's a very handsome knife Rachel:thumbup: I have the same but Clip and find it a great friend of the pocket. Not heavy or bulky but a couple of decent blades on one spring, my ideal.

What are those flowers? So lucky to have things blooming in dark mid-winter!

Thanks, Will

Thanks, Will. The plant is Wandering Jew (Tradescantia pallida)

Rust Red 77 Barlow today!

Jeff...very nice patina on that blade, almost damascus-like, was that natural. or forced patina? Wonderful!!!

Thanks for the confirmation, that is an interesting size not too hulking (unlike the RR 2 blade Gunstock I have which sees no use, good enough knife though)
May I ask what the issues were?

Not hulking all. Quite a slim and compact package, really.

So as not to take things further off track, I PMed you about the issues. :)

Beautiful pair of micarta you've got there.

So, lately I've really been admiring all the nice and shiny Presidentials being shown around here lately. Well, last night I decided to polish mine up a "little". About an hour later I had it looking almost brand new. Im pretty pleased with the results. It feels like I have a new knife in my pocket, which is always a good feeling.

Thanks buddy. Love me my green micarta. :)
Your Presidential is looking mighty fine and ready to patina up all over again. Awesome.

Snowshoeing back country.

This one floated to the top of the drawer today while I was looking for something else. I decided it needed to be picked up, cleaned up and sharpened up because it had some tape residue on the blade from opening boxes. The "Sowbelly Experiment".

Thanks, it was forced with some mustard dabbed on, then a few apples after that.
I love the patterns and colors mustard makes on the 1095.

Lovely photo r8shell, one of many here

I haven't moved far today, but have this one in my pocket :)
