What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Take a long weekend and there's 12 pages and endless knives!

Given my lack of free time lately, I figure I'll just show what I carried today and let the real wordsmiths wax effusive over the lovelies posted in the last few days. Thanks to all for contributing, a plethora of wonderful (and envy-inducing :p) knives to delight the eyes (and about 9 more pages yet to go!).

A German, an American and a Japanese expat walk into a bar...

I admire the "linearity" of your choices, with the horizontal lines in the French ivory(?) and the diagonals in the scratted Ancient.

Thank you my friend :D

Nice selection you have there :)

Terrific knives again everyone.

HST and hamsco really nice Michigan Jacks. Very nice Senator Mike. Great Seahorse Paul.

GT, the Cadet II has the pen blade. Sorry to disappoint you but I don't have an Electrician Plus.
The closest I can come to it is a well used Pioneer Harvester where the previous owner modified the pruning blade into a sheepsfoot.

Today it's this years forum knife, pile side, and the Vic Pioneer Harvester.

It has been a long time since I posted in this thread. I see many new faces, lots of familier ones and oodles n oodles of beautiful cutlery. There are some truly super photographers on the porch these days.

Paul Nice to see Old Sweats re-appearing :D

GT The Queen Small Stockman was the White Carved Stag Bone edition, they certainly do age and yellow like most white bone knives, the photo might be a bit of an exagg as it was a winter shot, but not much.

Primble Thanks to you too, I can recommend Queen knives of that type, very high finish.

Back to single today though, GEC Ivory Bone Boy's
