What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks you for the welcome. For today, found this ALCAS in my grandfather's things...don't remember him ever carrying it...trying to find a replacement for the one he carried everyday.

This week's new pic is a Michigan Jack Mammoth Ivory. I gotta say, I really really like the feel of this knife.

I like the Michigan Jack also. Your Mammoth is fantastic. Here is my Red Camel Bone, that I will put in my pocket today.

Really nice, guys!! I missed out on the first batch of the Michigan Jacks. I'll have to keep an eye out for when when they're available again.

In the meantime, I'm getting by with a Fremont Jack - really like this blade shape:

The blade profile on that Fremont Jack is nice and that is a very pretty knife all the way around. Great picture too.

Took the little guy out for a spin today. Haven't had this one very long. It's a little smaller than i usually like, but is really handy.

This #33 is elegant and nicely fits into a suit pocket:

It is elegant ! :thumbup::)

One more look from today:

Fine folder ! :thumbup::)

This morning just after 8 am -24.7C:eek: Thankfully the car's in a heated garage, not that common here....:grumpy:

I got this from the Exchange last year and the previous owner had really sharpened the D2 up nicely, not that easy with small blades. It's become my favourite Stockman as it's more like a Gent's Penknife with extra blades. Fine snap, more proof in my book that Queen's Carved Stagbone knives are some of their very best. I wish GEC would make a Small Stockmann like this as it's really useful and pocket friendly.

Now to brave the cold...:barf::eek::D

Fine looking Queen Will ! :thumbup::)

Carrying these two today :) Have a good week everyone :thumbup:

Needed a push to another page for all to admire ! ;):)

Primble - That is a fine SW 294 there my friend. :thumbup: I think it is a nice example of the quality and workmanship that this company was producing through the years. :)

I am Totin' this Case 6249W CV today :D

I agree Ron - they did fine work ! That straight edge ought to come in handy on your 6249. :thumbup::)

Thank you sir, engraved shields seem to be surprisingly rare. Absolutely lovely knife :thumbup:

Thank you Mr. Jack. :)

Last week was wood, I think this week is to be bone

Picture taken last summer. :)

Must be a Texas thing, that pic ! :thumbup::D:D:D

Primble, I just kept on staring at your SW 294 and I finally realized that the shield is the same one as our 2015 Forum knife. :eek: :D
