You picked a fine pair to take tomorrow Mr. Jack !
The new picture of the Rope knife just might be the best I have seen - the pic really shows the fine details nicely !![]()

Jim, maybe the first post in this thread will give you an idea of what I do: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1359012-Off-the-Grid-with-Gratitude-for-Gifts-from-Generous-Guys-(see-Posts-1-amp-25)5k, please share your rotation planning details. I just randomly grab one from the pile. But often find I neglect amazing knives.
Thanks Jim
Thanks, Jack. Top-notch choices for you! (I have a very similar A. Wright senator that I won in an R.c.s GAW.)
That Case sowbelly is sublime, Mike! Some great knives shown over the weekend! I hope everyone had a good one.

Thanks for the additional info on your Winchester scout, Tom, and congrats on the Camillus scout! That's new, too, right?Hey GT - yep, french ivory. It isn't perfect, there are some small gaps and the previous owner was a novice sharpener to say the least, but nothing I can't easily correct. It has good springs all around and a stout caplifter. It is my first Winchester and my only white scout, overall I am really happy with it. Have we seen the Whittlin' Buddy before? That is a cool knife sir

I think it's marvelous when someone finds a knife that they want to stick with almost all the time!I don't post much in here because it's been 3 years with the same knife in my pocket. I may change for a day or two every Couple of months but I always come back

It has everything for me the main clip is the length of the peanut's main, the secondary pen is for abusive tasks and the little clip is my preferred whittling shape.
The only con is the thickness of the main, but it's intrinsic to the whittler construction
Mateo
Peanut looks fantastic! Enjoy your time there!
Hope you had a good visit, Jack! That French Ivory knife is interesting.
Absolutely breathtaking!!
