What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Jack
I somehow missed the Joesph Hayward and man o mam is that one sweet...did i say sweet! I know you love Clasp knives and that is one fine example!

Thank you my good friend :)

Thank you JB
That Libert is new to me. Looks like a very practical mariner tool. I like it!

...

Thanks Dan, I used to carry it a lot, but it's not been on my belt for a while. That's another beautiful pair you have there

Learn something new around here all the time.:) What was the era where that kick fell out of fashion ? :)

I think it happened in different places at different times. Square 'top-hat' or 'stove-pipe' kicks were still seen on Sheffield knives in relatively recent times, though few I've had share the elegance of the Haywood. I believe Charlie wanted one on his Ancient Barlows!

:grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:

I had just finished responding to everyone's carries when the infamous BF "database error" gremlin got me. No autosave, no cache of my changes, no nothing. I am steaming!

...

Annoying, I was plagued by the same thing most of yesterday :grumpy: Nice line-up there TB

Edit - Oops! Forgot to include today's carry! :D Have a great weekend everyone

Jack - That old IXL just oozes character.

I have these 2 along for the 1st part of my Saturday.:) Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thanks a lot Ron, your Lambsfoot is stunning

Great stuff again everyone!

Thanks for the comments Gev and Primble.

Very nice pair Gary! I really like the scales on that Fight'n Rooster Jeff! That is one beauty of a Lamb Foot Ron!

I am going with these two today. A pair of H. Dorwals from Germany. I'm going to post these on the B.L. forum to see if I can get a little more info on them.

Great knife, that.

There I was scrolling through, registering the pictures without reading the text, when that fixed blade's silhouette caught my eye.

Hmmm, what is it?

OH.

Excellence stands out, even at a glance. :)

What a great set-up set. I carry my own Patriot in a similar pocket slip, paired with a slip joint and/or flashlight, but my gear shall never match like that. Great picture, in content and palette-- the whole shebang.

Thanks Rob and Ken! For Stag Saturday I'm going with my #85 and an old cross Electrician.

I don't care if it's Stag Saturday or not! Backwards bone Ancient for me today. (Scales were put on upside down, 1 of 5)

Another fine pair you’ve brought, Tom!

More of the knives I'm carrying this week follow.
A Rough Rider canoe (my first of what's turned out to be MANY canoes):
