Jack, I really like the tea pot kick. Great pics guys. I miss this thread. It's Friday so I'm carrying a cap lifter. I love these little knives, perfect for a watch pocket.
Recycled photo, couldn't get my phone to work right. Perhaps springs around the corner. We have a fresh blanket of snow here so it's it's pretty right now. Have a great weekend everyone!
I love that knife! It would be in my pocket everyday too!
Thanks, Gary! You have all the bases covered today. I like that little pen knife!
Thanks, Joe. Good to see you back on the porch! I do really like what Evan has done there! Very nice!
Got this little Ohta with me today, and most everyday, along with a few others that were posted in another thread.

Reminder knives are fabulous!Three customs for me today.
These blades remind me to be thankful for the caring, supportive, generous people in my life.

That Klein looks great with the elk you glued on!

And Gary, what can I say about this one that hasn't been said, other than it's not half rich...it's full on filthy stinkin' rich
Amazing pair, Jack! (Ive lost track of what day you actually carried them. ) Interesting kick on that spearpoint blade, and fantastic grain on the wood of that knife!
Congrats on the chestnut bone CV Sodbuster Jr! Ive carried one just like that every day for more than a year now; I think its a remarkable knife! My new Case Sod Buster Jr. CV in Chestnut bone finally came in the mail today. I'm pretty excited since this is my first traditional slip joint, but I can tell now that it will not be my last. Has a nice snap to it and is very light in the pocket. It will make a good companion to my Grohmann #1 Canadian belt knife & Granfors Small Forrest Axe while in the woods. Here are a couple pictures I took with my cell phone, they're not great.

Thanks, Ron; my 34OT and I are honored!Gary - Thank you.Your OT reminds me of my grandfathers OT, meaning I really like it!
Today's carry!

Both gorgeous, but for some reason the Boys Knife really grabbed me today - classic jackknife!!
Today's carry: Case Seahorse Whittler in caramel bone and CV, and my GEC #15 Huck Finn in antique yellow bone (sheepfot main, pen secondary)
GEC #15 Huckleberry Finn Boy's Knife in antique yellow bone
Glorious knife and superb carvings, Mateo!
This week I regrinded the primary grind of the main blade, because It was getting too thick behind the edge. Luckily the not so even scratches became invisible with patina from the fruit I cut daily for my son.
pics with a couple of wooden friends
What a beautiful edge for carving the small clip takes with the translucent arkansas.
By the way I was wrong and the knife is from 1979. Too much gunk on the tang I lost the dot

Mmmm! How many m-words do I need here? Magic is a great start, but Ill add magisterial, magnificent, majestic, major-league, marvelous, matchless, memorable, mind-blowing, mind-boggling, mint, miraculous, monumental!

High-quality quintet, Harry!
Thanks, Dean. I suppose I should take more precautions with that celluloid LF&C than I do, but currently its such a pleasant little knife.
Thanks for all the kind words, Tsar. Thanks, GT!More often than not I carry multi-blade traditionals, but I'm enamored with the sheepsfoot Case since I got it and that sweet swedged Queen 'pick is a statement knife in my favorite color. I may have to tote its green jigged bone cousin in the coming weeks, too.
Seems like that Imperial is emblematic of your love for your wife and what it has brought you, which makes it a priceless old knife regardless of construction.
Loving the color of the alox on your Vic. The LF&C has a ton of character, and those blades look like they're barely used. Your stable of Jokers is also outstanding. I am inspired to investigate (translated: "spend a bunch of money on") that make of knife.
That Hay'n Helper keeps trying to indoctrinate me into the cult of the sheepsfoot, yet I resist!![]()
The RRs in this thread have definitely gone a long way towards completely reversing my opinion about their products. Thinking about the fit and finish on my sawcut RR Barlow at home, I suppose I should have known better. It's a solid, sharp (in both respects) little knife. I'm already addicted to the dogbone jack I keep seeing but can't even find in stock to purchase, and that mini-Barlow is almost certainly going to end up in my stable too, along with that swayback half-hawk from earlier in the thread.
Today I was accompanied by a pair of Queens (#19 "EO" trapper, #32 congress) in the RHP and LHP while the Wingen Barlow (not pictured here, it's already getting an ego from all the older pics) "rides watch".
Gotta put a Bruckmann on my to-buy list!I like the teapot.

Bruckmann over Robeson.

Congrats, Paul!! Those Case rope knives are a very appealing pattern, and yours is an outstanding example!:thumbup:
This pristine CASE XX #11031SH circa 1940-1964 arrived the other day, wonderful condition, still had cosmoline on the blades
Took a VERY keen edge. Most are clad in a medium finished Walnut, I cant say for certain but this does not appear to be Walnut to me? Cocobolo or Rosewood? Dare I guess ebony? Hummmm, or just a very dark Walnut?
Any insight from my brothers and sisters here is appreciated

The spear/coping combo on your Eureka is splendid!Wow!! All of you guys n gals have fantastic knives, it's to hard to just single out a few. With that said here is my knife of the day... GEC 92 Eureka Jack by far my favorite pattern I can't get enough of them!!![]()
Another fine pair youve brought, Tom!
Those clasp knives are fascinating, Jack!

Wow, thats some well-tended wood on that beauty, Gev!BBB - Bingham's Best Brand. The lovely old specimen was made by Ulster Knife Co.
The W. BINGHAM CO., one of the Midwest's largest hardware concerns, was founded by WILLIAM BINGHAM and HENRY C. BLOSSOM and incorporated as the W. Bingham Co. in 1888.

Mr. Jack - you better have some strong pockets today, like I did yesterday ! I love the old Libert knife !
