Will, this knife is completely original.
When GEC first started in 2006 their bone works were not fully completed/operational to my knowledge, so scales like these were outsourced via Culpepper.

Looking good Tim

I'm sticking with Charlie's Rope Knife :) Have a great Sunday everyone

Thanks Jack, that bail on the rope knife deserves a standing ovation to GEC and Charlie.

I was wondering the exact same thing. The Culpepper bone they used was some of the most interesting and nicely jigged bone in my opinion.

Tim, congrats on acquiring the TC. Those single clips are, in my opinion, some of the best looking ones to date.

Thank you, I agree :) Still handling it alongside what I carried with it in the pocket today.
Keep warm everyone~
-3°f out this morning on a walk so I needed some micarta.

Great pics everyone.

Thanks Primble and Tsar.

Very nice pair of knives Dean! Terrific 73 johnney twoshoes! A couple of great SAK's GT and mp31x!

Today it's a Northfield 72 redone in mammoth and a Wenger Esquire in hammered stainless.

Have a good one all!

Today is a working day, and with a chance of being outside the mora is definitely coming along. Case winter bone stockman, holub (Schrade) electricians knife with sheepsfoot, and my newly stained mora. I was going for a stacked leather look with the stain, and despite using pre stain it still didnt quite cover but I think it looks vintage and cool this way. Cruddy phone pic.

Was the hammered esquire also done afterwards Ken? Both look fantastic, that mammoth is all sorts of creamy. Who did the work?

Couple of Northwoods today. A bit too cold (-2 last I checked) to be out today, so I had to improvise on the pics:

I think that's the first Northwood fixed-blade I've seen, looks handy, and you're certainly not going to lose it in the snow!

Great pair my friend, I am very interested to hear your impressions of the Iron River.

Quick snow pic, I am having a hard time not toting this Camillus each day. Perfect pull for me and excellent walk and talk.
