Great looking presidential and evergreen on your carry, hope you stayed warm. It was most definitely frigid today.
Thanks my friend, nice choices for your hike, hope you had a good one
Very nice pair of knives Dean!
this beauty on slipjointsunday![]()
Two stunning vipers, guys.
Ron, I'm those two "mystery" packages will fit in just fine with the rest of your vipers.

Make sure to do a thorough stripping and sanding, use stain prep, and look in these forums for opinel staining advice. The beech is really hard to get a good stain on.Was the hammered esquire also done afterwards Ken? Both look fantastic, that mammoth is all sorts of creamy. Who did the work?
Good looking Mora handle. I've yet to carve into my opinel and stain it but i'll come along in due time I hope.
I think that's the first Northwood fixed-blade I've seen, looks handy, and you're certainly not going to lose it in the snow!
Great pair my friend, I am very interested to hear your impressions of the Iron River.
Thanks.
Your knives are always breathtaking, Kris, and those tiles inlaid in your table/countertop are mighty attractive too!...
Unseasonably warm day today, nice to have a day off from climbing and working. Spending the day with my special ladies, these two fine knives are with me today,
R.W. Loveless drop point in lignum vitae and 154cm, along with a Texas jack by Tony Bose in very nice, vintage, Remington bone and ATS 34, #2.

I remember the photos you've posted of your entire array of stockman knives, and to say the Remington is your very favorite is saying a LOT!Speaking of Camillus. Today I've got this Camillus-made Remington stockman with 0170-6C blade steel in my pocket. (similar to the 1095 Cro Van that KaBar uses.) Of all my stockman knives, this is probably my very favorite.

Mind-boggling ram's horn, Jeff! :thumbup:Ram's horn Cuban along with a Cadet today.

Thanks for the follow-up, scrteened porch. Thanks, guys.
I'm a little embarrassed to have forgotten this one. It was possible because I have a pretty similar Boker with more belly to the main blade. I believe the handle on this one is delrin, and I think the shield and the jigging are gorgeous.

Thanks, Ron; I try to be "impartial", but I definitely have some knives that deserve more attention than others!...
Gary - You are welcome my friend! Hope you decide to enjoy it more often.
The Mailman brought me a package yesterday and another today. No time yet to get photos so I decided to carry this one and use an old photo. This might give a hint as to the contents those 2 packages.

Thanks for the sleeveboard info, Primble....
GT - that old sleeveboard you asked about the other day was made by Schrade Cut. Co. Do I remember correctly that you are a mathematician ?![]()
Thanks, Tim, and congrats on that fabulous, knees-weakening antique amber sawcut TC!!!:thumbup:...
I always enjoy seeing that baseball mitt slip of yours~ Great knives and great friends behind each one.
Well here it is my friend xD
Had to clean it out all day today (quite a bit of gunk inside and out not shown/I'm not quite done yet but it's clean of any red stuff now)
I also put a vertical brushed satin on the bolsters instead of the 'matte finish'
I hesitate to use the word grail but this is definitely one that's up there.
I never thought I would find one considering how long ago they were made but with the help of a friend who passed his along to me.

A Vic Electrician is almost the perfect knife, IMHO, and it's even better with the old cross!! Are the blades coated, or is that just the lighting?Yesterday's carry

You're still living the BSA motto, Tom, with your daily pairs: you are definitely prepared for whatever the day brings, at least from a cutlery perspective!
Superb Charlow, Dean!

Looking forward to seeing the contents of your packages (even though I think there's a biblical warning about a "brood of vipers")!
Thanks for the sleeveboard info, Primble.I am a mathematician of sorts, and I guess I must have let the professional intrude on the recreational, eh?
I don't compartmentalize my life very well; I tend to let various aspects mix together and influence one another!
