Ordered this same model last night, looks like a beauty, and should fit in very well with my 99 (riding "shotgun" in my right front pocket today).
Some beautiful stag and patina on that 99.
Stunning Imperial! The TL-29 and pearl KK just exude elegance!!:thumbup: Thanks to your pic of that SAK, I see the light!!

What model is that Fat Boy??
...
At the risk of being even more boring than usual, I'll again show photos of the knives I carry EVERY day, in addition to my weekly choices.
Vic Electrician, Case Peanut, Vic Minichamp, and Case Sodbuster Jr. The Sodbuster Jr (SBJr) is pictured twice, once with a Case Swayback Jack (SBJ) and once with a Case Sowbelly Stockman (SBS), all in chestnut jigged bone and CV. I'm thinking of adjusting my carry rotation a little bit, because the swayback jack and the sowbelly are just TOO nice to wait to carry every tenth week or so!! I think I'm going to use my "normal" rotation Monday through Friday, and have "weekend specials" during which I carry all my FAVORITE knives!

Not sure what 8-12 knives will be in that every weekend line-up, but it will definitely include the SBJr (thanks, Bob), the SBJ (thanks, Paul), and the SBS (thanks, Ron), and probably an Imperial clip/pen toothpick (thanks, Dave), an ebony EC Simmons Keen Kutter (thanks, Mark), a Camillus TL-29, a stag canoe, maybe a Marbles bone stag stockman (thanks, Randy) and an Uncle Henry stockman (thanks, Dean) and a Sheffield ring-opener (thanks, Jack), and probably my first knife, a Colonial Forest-Master.
My Vic is a Cybertool Lite, which is a Cybertool 34 with an added row featuring the flashlight and magnifier. It is one heavy hunk of steel but in its belt sheath it is an invaluable portable toolbox.
That SBJ and soddie definitely qualify as a "notable pair"! The sowbelly is a looker, too.
R.W. Loveless drop point in lignum vitae and 154cm, along with a Texas jack by Tony Bose in very nice, vintage, Remington bone and ATS 34, #2.
That is an outstanding Bose, thanks for showing it off.
Camillus 883 stockman. Surprising quality on this one for the price I got it for. Delrin handles, I believe. Anyone know what time period it's from? Recent?
Almost surely Delrin. While Camillus knives are a little more difficult to date solely by stamps, I'd have to guess that knife is from the 2000s. Camillus ceased operations in New York in 2007. I have one of their last knife show knives with very similar jigged Delrin like yours. I'll see if I can run it down and get a photo. Yours really does look factory fresh!
Speaking of Camillus. Today I've got this Camillus-made Remington stockman with 0170-6C blade steel in my pocket. (similar to the 1095 Cro Van that KaBar uses.) Of all my stockman knives, this is probably my very favorite.
The handles sure do pop on that Camill-ington, Frank. I can see why you'd favor it. For someone who has such a host of customs and rarities I am a little surprised you'd form such an attachment to a "common" stockman, but that's what's so cool about this hobby -- you never know what will spark your interest.
I'm a little embarrassed to have forgotten this one. It was possible because I have a pretty similar Boker with more belly to the main blade. I believe the handle on this one is delrin, and I think the shield and the jigging are gorgeous.
That's one nice Ulster, and those old carbon blades have so much life left in them. Might be a good EDC Challenge knife.
Today, it's the #66 & nut
Not bad for a couple small fries, Peter!
A. Wright courtesy of J. Black.
I may start referring to J. Black as "J. Barehead".

Nice wooden jack, Bob. Maybe it will make a reappearance on WW.
Happy Valentine's Day All!

]
Cupid may find himself falling in love with that stag and neglecting his duties.
-3°f out this morning on a walk so I needed some micarta.
Love the lines on that Dowell.
Today it's a Northfield 72 redone in mammoth and a Wenger Esquire in hammered stainless.
That hammered steel on the Wenger is a really good look for that knife, though I see from later in the thread that you have all the variants. Is this one your favorite?
Today is a working day, and with a chance of being outside the mora is definitely coming along. Case winter bone stockman, holub (Schrade) electricians knife with sheepsfoot, and my newly stained mora. I was going for a stacked leather look with the stain, and despite using pre stain it still didnt quite cover but I think it looks vintage and cool this way. Cruddy phone pic.
The Mora is definitely looking good now but that Case might be overdressed in its Winterbottom pants for a day out with the linesmen and those hardy Swedes.
I've got the old SW #890 stockman today.
That's a classic American stockman, nice find!
NYKC Hammerbrand 1852-1931:
I got this one in the mail yesterday, and it is in the pocket today!

I believe it just may be the Cream of the crop. no pun intended.

Tidioute #47 Viper - Smooth Camel Bone
A winning Wharnie. Are you going to leave the handles as-is or do a little scrimming?
Donna decided to show me a little leg for Valentine's Day. So before you all get your minds in the gutter, she got me another little knife. My first lady leg actually, in purple swirl (her favorite color). It's a really nice little Taylor Brand Schrade that is well put together. One little gap, dead center blades, that are shaving sharp out of the box. Best of all, it opens beer bottles. It's perfect to me. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Another shot across the bow in the caplifter debate, courtesy of Mrs. Mccutcheon.
Switched over to this week's rotation today. Here are some of the knives for this week.
SAK of the week is a "no-name" (actually, brand name is Sheffield):
Stockman of the week is a Colt "black stag" bone stag sowbelly:
Canoe of the week is a Hen and Rooster mini-canoe (thanks, Will):
I dig the color of the bone on that H&R, and the Colt looks pretty unique itself. Nice carries this week, GT!
It was a saber grind Sunday for me.
This one took the place of my 110 for the weekend.
That is some of the nicest bone I've seen on a Camillus yet. I also don't recall seeing too many match-striker long pulls on those knives. Really good stuff!
A Case 3 7/8" stockman, a #3347. in yellow Delrin and CV has been in my pocket most of the day.
A classic Case pattern. I briefly kicked around the idea of carrying one of my 47s for
the EDC Challenge this week before settling on something that might be a little easier to work into the day's carries.
Tossed this Old Forge in my pocket today.
That is one pretty folder! Copper bolsters? Betcha that takes a really nice patina.
I carried a Case medium Texas jack in black synthetic covers and Tru-sharp today.
If you snap a photo of that black Jack you could add it to
the Texas Jack thread.
Im not going to lie, it's not my favorite grind on a slip joint. I've often thought about getting another higo and having someone refrains it to a flat grind. I don't mind em so much on my bigger folders or fixed blades that may actually see "hard use," but for a little slip joint that mostly sees light use I prefer a nice thin flat grind.
Carrying some of the newer Buck 30x series with saber grinds has opened up new utility for the typical stockman/serpentine patterns, I've noticed. Some cuts are better for, say, a Case's FFG, but other times you want that reinforced spine when you need to put a little more elbow grease into a cut. If there's room for it in a pocket then the more the merrier, I say.
Thought this was a good carry for the occasion
That sure is some beautiful GEC soup bone, Drew.
Thought I'd start the week off with some Todd Davison goodness!

I'm normally a fan of my bolsters (see: my Barlow addiction

) but that is one slick sheepsfoot!
So, i spent about 2 hours sharpening a roughly 1/16th deep chip out of the blade of my old Wyeth scout. On days when I have a coin pocket, a clean knife will go in there, and I'll have the dirty blade on the scout, as well as all the tools! When I don't have the extra pocket, the 77 will ride along as normal.
Great job bringing that scout back into the rotation. You can't even really tell it was sharpened.
City Knife with an AG Russell Premium Scout today.
One classy-looking pair. I am beginning to wonder if you will ever run out of scouts.
Today I'm carrying a TC Barlow and a Wenger Patriot.
That Barlow is like bottled sunshine, Ken, great selection! :thumbup9:
Canal Street Cutlery Co. Pinch Lockback
I generally prefer my lockbacks to be of the larger variety (think Buck 110), but that one looks fantastic! It has the lines of some of the customs we get in here. Great pickup!
Totin' the newly acquired 54 GEC again.
Loving the parallel slanted bolsters and that deep, rich horn. You could get lost in it, I'll bet it makes a great worry stone too.
Turned out to be an insanely busy weekend, plus short notice meant an early trip to the office. Now the rain clouds have opened up, so today's probably going to be primarily indoors. At least that should give me a chance to give this week's
EDC Challenge knife a good rundown. First, Saturday's carry:
The little pearl Keen Kutter might have been out of its element in the outdoors, but it was the only carry on a lazy, hazy, crazy Sunday. As for today, clips in trips:
