While I was composing a post for this thread yesterday, SEVEN consecutive posts came in, each of which contained at least one very notable knife that filled me with yearning!

I don't have data to support this claim, but my gut feeling is 7 in a row has to be some kind of record! Here are "The Magnificent Seven": JSCHENK's yellow congress, Mike's orange humpback stockman, puukkoman's green "7-Up bottle" Marbles, J_Curd's new "golden brown" 85 and Jake's red bloodwood 85 (both with fantastic EO notch and bodice shield :thumbup

, Gev's rich brown New York Barlow (and his frequent green photo assistant

), and jrawk's green 09!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! No green today, so I hope I don't get pinched...
Bark River Little Creek LT, Case Humpback Stockman
Happy St. Patrick's Day, folks.
...
...
I'm going with the bloodwood today.
My St Patty's Day Acrylic #09 today.... of course!
Almost a rainbow of colors there, too!
...
5KQ....sorry didn't see your question on the Itty Bitty , but the lanyard is indeed a showlace and the pattern is a rattlesnake. you can catch how to on youtube.
Thanks, Steve; I'll be looking up a rattlesnake lanyard, for sure!
Thank you, GT! Nice pair yourself!

Gary
Thanks so much for the compliment on yesterdays carry! Good looking Bee your packin:thumbup::thumbup:
Thanks for the kind words, mitch and Gev.
Gary, That's the Case-Bose 2013 Collaboration. It's 3.5". It's one of my favorites and just the right size in my opinion.
Thanks for the reply, Gary. I can see why it's a favorite; not only is the size just right, it looks to me as though practically every feature of that knife is just right!

Seven days of two Barlows - Day 6:

Are we going to have to rank all these astounding Barlows at the end of the week?

I think that might be an impossible (but enjoyable) task for me! That Catt is incredible; just the bolster stamp alone, with its tiny cursive script, seems like a marvel of engineering to me. And the TC is unforgettable; the antique amber sawcut handles are by far my favorite, and then the "soup effect" on this one makes it stand out even more!

Haven't you owned that knife more than once?? And that Keen Kutter certainly punches above its weight!!
...
Have these two today for the hike...
Your Uncle Henry is looking very svelte, Steve!
...
A semi-matched pair for me. I am going to give this Queen barlow to my nephew, but at 4 years old his parents think he is a little young

. Thought I would give it some air and oil this fine day.
I'd call that a Yowza Yellow pair, Tom! Sounds like you're a GOOD uncle!
Superlative Sowbelly, pj!
Not the best picture, but it was dark when I took the teardrop out of the mailbox. It went straight into the pocket.
Congrats on the tasteful teardrop, ms3902 (and the peanut definitely has pizzazz)!

Filling your pockets with steel on a windy day is good thinking, Harry!

Quite a variety of knives in your photo.

I like that gigantic Colonial with the distinctive covers. Is the Eddie Bauer SAK a Wenger model ?
...
- GT
Yes it is a Wenger GT !!!!
Harry
Thanks for the confirmation, Harry.

I like this new "theme week" idea. Your stock knives, Primble's Barlows...maybe GT and I will do duelling fish knives one week.

...
Since today was kind of a joke for me it only seems natural that my carry would sound like a setup line... "A Queen, a Case and a Tidioute

confused

walk into a bar..."
I like the "theme week" idea, too. But I'd lose at Duelling Fishknives long before 7 days had passed!

Your "joke trio", along with the numerous Barlow wheels recently in another thread, give me an idea for a geometric theme: displaying knives in all kinds of pleasing geometric configurations - trapper triangles, Queen quadrilaterals, peanut pentagons, harness jack hexagons, pen knife polygons of every ilk!!

...Always the Kanoe King, GT.

That's some awfully nice stag for the price, sir!

That linesman knife has such an interesting shield, too. I've almost pulled the trigger on more than one occasion just because of the bone and the shield. And what if RR starts making Laguioles...

Glad to see you went with a Barlow, too.
...
Thanks, TB.

Somehow, without my realizing exactly when it happened, I've become quite a canoesseur.

Seems when I look at knives I might purchase these days, canoes get all my attention: normal 3.625" canoes, mini-canoes, oversized canoes, gunboats, any and all handle variations; I've even looked at some that exceed my usual $30 max for a single knife!
Thanks
GT. It was gift from a fellow BF member.
That Laguiole is a style I've always wanted to try. Just a sleek looking cutter. Very nice.
...
Some green ( and fluffy white ) for the day...
Thanks, Dan.

Very cool photo; that little dog looks incredibly magisterial as he gazes imperially over his domain!

...
Double TC's for me today
Wow! Make mine a double, too, barkeep!

I think the only knives I'm totin' this week that I haven't posted here this week are some of my constant companions that I carry every day. So you've seen them all before, but I'm gonna post them again in the interests of full disclosure, transparency, honor among thieves, etc.

The Vic Electrician, and the Vic Minichamp (regrettably, celidor instead of Alox); you'll have to find them in the following group shot (sort of like dual "Where's Waldo?"):
The brown delrin SS Case Peanut:
The Opinel #7 on eternal kitchen patrol:
The Rough Rider little stockman with the mathematical scrimshaw:
