What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I like your Coyote Dean. Almost ordered one. How do you like it ?

Rob, the Osage Orange one that I have is light, sharp, snappy, pinch pull and small. It disappears in my watch pocket allowing room for my magnifying glass also. I could see myself going out this summer with just the Coyote and my Vic Classic. So, in brief, I like it. :)

See below for a photo of my new Northfield Micarta one. In comparison, functionally, the Tidioute is better IMO. But the Northfield wins on looks.

Doesn't that osage 'yote just feel right? The Cult of the Peanut might be in for some watch pocket competition. :)

I have 10 Peanuts I don't carry anymore, so you may be right!

Some green ( and fluffy white ) for the day... ;)

I'm partial to the fluffy white, but the canvas micarta is pretty good looking, too.

Seven days of two Barlows - Day 6:

I can't go by this one without commenting. Wow! Bolster, bone and blade - none finer made. I wax poetic. :D

Looking good there, Prof!

Going natural today (the knives - not me!).

A fine pair Mr. Jack ! Ten more stars - oops that's thumbs !:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::D

Thanks sir, I've been enjoying your Barlow posts immensely  Two more lovely knives today, but that KK is outstanding

Wow! Make mine a double, too, barkeep!:thumbup::D

:D  Stay away from water, with all that steel in your pockets, my friend! :D

WOW!!

I've been remiss about posting it, but I've been carrying this John Lloyd custom shadow Dogleg Jack every day for the past six weeks.

The covers are 1950s canvas micarta; the rest is CPM 154 steel. The curves, and the interplay between straights and curves, are what sold me on this pattern (one I'd never considered before). Look at the lines in the second photo and you'll see what I mean.

I use it for everything, and I toss it in with my keys. That's what it was made for. :)

Primble and GT, appreciate your compliments on my new 85!

In addition to my mammoth Madison, I am toting this little guy as well...

some really nice Lloyds, GuessWho101 and Dadpool.
And all the micarta's are standing out

The fixed blades are getting my attention these days, wonderful!

Today will tote the white bones

I finally got a chance to slip one of my new 85's in the pocket today. What a sweet, slim carry this single blade is, WOW! :D

Thanks! Those white bones look great -- I particularly like the character of the folder's covers.

If I'm not mistaken, GuessWho101, the middle Lloyd in your photo is handled in the same micarta as mine, John's desert tan canvas from the '50s. :)

Lovely knife in many ways:)

Particularly like the fact that it's a clip and the way John has used the frame shape to his advantage to make the tang sunken. Very cool

Sam

I love how the end cap is slightly pinched as well on that Texas Jack, Kris. Very nice touch

Is that the Case "vintage bone" (which is just their way of saying "Nyah, nyah, Queen, we do Winterbottom too") in red on that seahorse? It looks fantastic. I also chose an osage GEC and a red Case to make things a little more colorful.

Yes it is, and thank you.

Terrific Trio Tsar!

Awesome awesome pairing Tom. Wish my uncle had a nice Barlow like that waiting for me. :D

Some green ( and fluffy white ) for the day... ;)

Thanks Dan, great combo and the pup looks like a fun companion.

Thanks Tom! your two yesterday matched nicely. I'm sure your nephew will appreciate the gift (even if he can't use it right away :) )

My pair for this half-day Friday... Half-Whittler and City Knife.

Thanks Mike, nicely matched pair

I'd call that a Yowza Yellow pair, Tom! Sounds like you're a GOOD uncle! ;)

Thanks GT, great pic of your multitude of multi-tools :)

Fantastic pic Steve, those two compliment each other perfectly

Pretty standard carry for me today, the A.G. Russell Premium is one of my favorite scouts though. Happy Friday all!

Thanks Tom/Whetstone39... your carry of an almost daily City Knife was the inspiration to carry a fixed as often as I could, along with a folder. That Scout is a grail for so many folks, looks perfect!

WOW!!

Thanks fellas!!

The white bone is beautiful on those two, Steve! Now where's the Swayback? :)

Indeed..... it appears so. I believe there was also a Stockman with the same material.

Barlow Imperial Ireland, Taylor made Imperial 3inch Stockman, a SAK, and Imperial Lockback from Tractor Supply Company for $5 bucks.
