Another day with the 77 Spear

Friends back from ski vacations brought me that splendid and tasty beaufort (a neighbor to Opinel). Could not resist to eat a (fair) bit, the Ancient Barlow is perfect for slicing.

Today it ended up on a gratin dauphinois.

Found this nicely restored beer bottle crate over the weekend at an antique mall. Krueger Brewing Company was the first brewery to produce and ship beer in cans. The crate will be home to my GEC tubes and other knife packages.

Found this nicely restored beer bottle crate over the weekend at an antique mall. Krueger Brewing Company was the first brewery to produce and ship beer in cans. The crate will be home to my GEC tubes and other knife packages.

Nice find! sure beats my plastic file box as a tube container. Oh and the 85 is okay too

Haha thankfully the tissue has started healing up fine and the tooth doesn't ache nearly as bad anymore.
Some beautiful shots GT. It actually snowed last night.

A full patina is coming along nicely.
