Busted out a big boy earlier this fine morning for a some tough cutt'n chores on the property today. She's a hand full of good ole fine hi-carbon steel that gets the job done to be certain..

I hope you get one it's up on high on my favorites that I own!

I'll probably start looking for one in the new year :)

I got my modified jigged redbone RR sunfish in my pocket...gave her a good touch up this morning after using it at work all week, this pattern really is stout enough to handle some hard tasks.

Nice one Elliot. I'm beginning to think you have the best slip joint collection on the planet.

Thanks, Eric, but after a while you'll get to know the guys with the really amazing collections and know the difference.
That said, I am very happy with my own lot and very much appreciate your kind words.

Ken Coats' one is going to see some pocket time today. His work is sooo much better than just two years ago. This one is "PERFECT"

It's been a while since I carried it, but I have this Fight'n Rooster canoe with me today. It reminds me how much I like the canoe pattern.

Can't get much more "traditional" than this (my current everyday pocket knife):
xyk4BORaDQU

the so-called "capa-grilos" (cricket castrator) because of the shape of the blade. Unfortunately the blade is stainless steel, probably 440c from Germany, in the old days it would have been made of hand forged carbon steel.
