What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hey, everyone. I'm new here. I've been vacillating among a few different knives for EDC...trying to find "the one." I just recently got this Case canoe in smooth chestnut bone. Sorry I don't have a real camera. These cell phone pics will have to do for now. A lot of great knives posted here. Great to see what everyone is carrying.

You'll notice that this side is lighter than the other.

magicdust, I'm beginning to think that mismatched scales is somewhat of a Case trademark, I see so many in that category including some I have. It is a nice knife though and I like carrying and using canoes. I carried a 4-blade Fight'n Rooster yesterday.

Today I will be carrying the pocket hog - Case amber bone mini copperhead:

I love that knife, Elliot. I need to get on Ken's list before Blade but I haven't narrowed down what I want from at least half a dozen patterns!

Took a hike with the dogs early this morning... despite the rain. The Case Scout knife was in the pocket of my raincoat.

Thanks, Jake. I'm sure you'll be very pleased with anything you ultimately decide upon.

BTW, that's a very cool looking and useful Case.

Case Bros 62009 Barlow, the fit and finish on this knife is equal to the Sway Back Jack, this is one well put together knife! The stainless took a very nice edge, I'm usually a 1095 guy...

That's a most unusual pattern, very appealing. How is the finish&action on this may I ask?

Today, cooped up indoors due to some rain at last, sharpened a few knives and made chippings/curls with Queen Copperhead. very pleased with this knife, Queen got this one right:thumbup:

Thank you. I know I'll be happy with whatever pattern he makes - that's why I'm having trouble deciding. ;) I sent him an idea for feedback since I'm not sure if it's a good idea and I trust his opinion. If that doesn't work, I have a half a dozen ideas that are less hair brained! :p

Dowell Wharncliffe Trapper...

Can't go wrong with that combination of blades. That's a good lookin' knife too!

Theblinddog; what knife is that in your post with the bail on it? Nice looking knife, do you know the brand and style? Thanks..Paul
