What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Holy smokes that there is what's missing from my life! If I may ask, what is the blade length? (tip to bolster)

Edit, nevermind! found my answer in Ken's thread. perfection all the way around.

Haha sorry I didn't see this. Glad you found the answer though. It is a beauty of a knife :)

CV Sodbuster Jr. and my Rancher today! Bigger knives than I'm used to, but they are getting the job done!

No more little Jokers, Jack? That's a bit disappointing. I hoped to come across a ram's horn one like GT's someday.

That Coyote is a gem, isn't it? For Wooden Wednesday, I'm carrying mine, and a recently rehabbed Camillus:

Nice job on the covers R8shell!

funny thing is the reason I have this one now is because of somebody else's daily carry photo put me over the edge as well.. it's like a chain reaction of 83 Purple Hazes!! ☺

Today I am carrying my 25 EO. Such a fantastic utility knife.

Nice 25, looks like a great user! Nice coin as well! I'll try to post mine later. Seen a 101st around as well! 11B?

Certainly not in the 2016 catalogue :( I'm hoping to snag a couple from shops that still have stock. Yeah, nice little knife, glad to see you like it too :)

Thank you Jack, fantastic pieces from good friends on the forum.

Thanks Tim, two lovely Barlows my friend

I've been thinking about a 25 pattern EO sheepsfoot as well, but probably in jigged bone. I'm thinking it might be a little small for me but everyone who has them seems to be well pleased. I guess it's a situation that you just don't know until you try one.

Definitely worth a try in my opinion Rick, for what it's worth

Gorgeous 'yotes Jack and Rachel

Thanks Tom, that's a beautiful pairing

Two great carries today, Jack! Two great guys!!

I'll carry one that another missing in action friend gave me...Mr. Primble. Hope all is well fellas:D Maybe it will guide them back;)

Thanks Gev, I was going to enquire about Mr P, hope he's ok. That's a very enticing Barlow :)

Pete!!! Good to see you and your knives. Hope all is well with you and your lovely ladies, my friend:D

+1 Great to see you here Pete

I find the Pruner blade on SAKs to be really useful for tackling hard plastic packaging, clam-shell type of stuff.A surprisingly versatile blade actually.

There's no doubt that Sodbusters are a supreme work-knife, the strong construction, moderate cost and thick handles that deter hot-spots all ensure that.

Thanks, Will

That pruning blade freed that very Sodbuster from its stuffy clamshell package. :D It just locks right into that plastic and doesn't let go until the job is done.

The Sodbuster is a tank. Pound for pound, I think the GEC 25 Little Jack is the only other knife that can compare to the smaller sodbusters in terms of small knife with incredible, solid feel in-hand.

You miss a day and so many great knives are posted it's hard to catch up.

Well done everyone.

Thanks Gev and GT for the comments on my Indian River Jack.

Nice pair Whetstone and I'm liking the Davidson Jack.

This is it today. A TC Barlow and a Vic Electrician that I'm becoming more and more fond of.

Have a good one all!

Thanks a lot Ken, great pairing, those Sheepsfoot TCs in smooth ivory bone are pretty special

My D2 Large #32 Congress ACSB (newly honed to a razor-polished edge...and it took some time...well worth it)

Nice Wharncliffe!

Thanks mitch

“SBJ” must stand for “Superiorly Beauteous Jackknife”, right, Dan?:p

More of my carry for the week:
a big carbon and wood Joker

- GT

I didn't know it stood for anything else but that .... :D;)
Really really like seen Joker GT. Great grain to it.

Here are the two spoons I have at school. The big one is a piece of hickory I carved green that I use for a coffee scoop. The small one I just finished tonight with the Boker. A piece of advice; don't carve old seasoned hickory! My hands are worn out, and I put a pretty ugly gash in my left index finger roughing it out.

I would say they turned out pretty good! I'm guessing class is a little slow. :p
Excited to try one of these Boker Treebrand Barlows out myself. I have a clip point heading my way. Been following the solo carry of yours.

With me today, plata o acero
