Here are the two spoons I have at school. The big one is a piece of hickory I carved green that I use for a coffee scoop. The small one I just finished tonight with the Boker. A piece of advice; don't carve old seasoned hickory! My hands are worn out, and I put a pretty ugly gash in my left index finger roughing it out.

Nice golden Barlow, Jack, and I was glad to see this later unfiltered shot of the machinery on which the original artistic photo was taken; I can even see the exact location of the first shot on the wider shot.

I really like those Böker barlow bolsters.![]()

Thanks GTI tried to pick up a couple of the smaller Joker knives in that pattern for other members at the weekend, and it seems that Joker have discontinued them - the smallest size at least - the guy in the shop looked through the whole 2016 Joker catologue, and they weren't in there

Beautiful Erickson Tim
Carrying these two today, both gifts from good friends, my Todd Davison given to me a while back by Stephen, who used to post here as Old & In The Way, and the Coyote, which I received from Paul PMEW just yesterday:thumbup:

Congrats on the new yellow Erickson, Tim, and on the Zulu, for that matter! What a dynamite (even notable) pair!

funny thing is the reason I have this one now is because of somebody else's daily carry photo put me over the edge as well.. it's like a chain reaction of 83 Purple Hazes!! ☺Good picture there. I've been thinking of ordering this same knife while I still can. I believe your picture just put me over the edge.
Enjoying everyone's pictures. This place is full of enablers I tell you.....Thanks you all,
Rick
Bringing out the heat today Rob~ That jigged micarta is awesome.
Thank you Gevo, it's my "feel-good" knife. OR some might call it a Buck 301 tribute
Thanks bud
Sporting my "No BS zone" pin along with today's carry on this sunny day.

Thanks for the additional details on your rooting interests and the Russell trapper, Tom. Nice pairing in honor of the Blues today. (Congrats on their already clinching a spot in the playoffs ; the Red Wings playoff string looks to be in serious jeopardy after 24 consecutive years unless one of their goalies heats up!)

You rascal you!!I've been thinking about a 25 pattern EO sheepsfoot as well, but probably in jigged bone. I'm thinking it might be a little small for me but everyone who has them seems to be well pleased. I guess it's a situation that you just don't know until you try one. So many patterns and variations and so little time! Oh well.
Thanks again, and take care,
Rick
