The tortoise shell pen and the rope knife were an interesting combination.Carrying these two today
Enjoying your sports team theme immensely, Tom; thanks! Howd you like all SAKs, all day?
My attempt to represent the St. Louis Cardinals (baseball), in red, navy blue, and yellow. I don't think I have ever only carried SAKs for a whole day, this should be fun.
...
Breathtaking, Ernie!
Bright idea, Wurrwulf! That pair is definitely sunny.![]()
Not much sun today, so I brought my own sunshine to work.
Finding that bad boy in your truck must have been a brow-mopping experience, Barrett; whew! Losing that beauteous stag after bonding with it all week would have been less than ideal.Side story regarding that #25 - I thought I lost it last night. I had it in my pocket all day, I'd used it a couple times at the house after work, then we went bowling last night, and about halfway through our second game I reached into my pocket and the knife wasn't there!I checked my other pockets, didn't find anything; started thinking about where I had sat down (which really wasn't anywhere, I had been standing most of the time). I came to the hopeful conclusion that either I'd taken out of my pocket at home earlier and left it sitting somewhere, or it had fallen out in my truck on the way there. Sure enough, when we left the bowling alley, I found it wedged between the console and the driver's seat. Crisis averted.

Bewitching blade, Jolipapa! :thumbup:Today I use my Olivewood Lozère, by Bastide. It is a slipjoint, the spring is not on the back of the knife, but around the axle, unlocking is done by pressing with the thumb.
It is #11cm but due to the small quantity of metal (no liner), very light. Satin blade is Z40C13 (#12C27), terribly sharp. Lovely!

Captivating tortoise shell, Steve! Is that canoe a Rough Rider? Ive often contemplated getting a RR canoe in tortoise shell, but wasnt sure what it would look like in person, but I think your pic has made up my mind to get one next time I send in an order!
Congrats on your champion Allen, Wilsonhome!
Congrats, Harry; looks like it was a FANTASTIC day at the show! Did you see anyone else from The Porch there? Maybe Ill have to find some way to make sure I have a little free time for the Badger knife show next year!

Ive become a huge canoe fan, so I can believe that a fine canoe like that could persuade you to give up your stockman for a while!Haven't carried anything outside of my yellow Case medium Stockman for 5 years. So, today, I changed it up a bit. Bought this guy maybe 8 months ago and took out of the box for the first time. Case Canoe in rough black.![]()
Two brilliant photos, Tim!...
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.
Here was my carry for the day and a shot of this sublime sunset. That line where the light stops is incredible.

Couple of charismatic cutters you're carrying today, Jack; I always enjoy seeing the tacklers knife! I also enjoy seeing that the prodigal Primble has resurfaced!
Catchy photo, Rachel! I've eaten corn-on-the-cob and I've eaten potatoes and I've eaten bread, but I've never tried crawfish; tastes like chicken, I suppose?
The Porch was getting worried over your absence, and I thought desperate times called for desperate measures, so I invoked the UK thing, hoping to draw you out of the woodwork. Nothing personal ......
Thank you for opening up my old wounds GT ~!

That sowbelly is a chart-topping classic, Mike! Hope you enjoy your spring day; its been snowing here for 4 hours, the evergreens are drooping badly with their snow loads, and it looks like 3 inches of snow have accumulated on top of the recycling bin so far.Beautiful morning today! Sun is shining, and we're already at 11C (52F) at 9:00am, and looking to hit a high of 20C (68F). Sowbelly and Little Creek in the pocket for today.
