Wow, snazzy FB Paul

Looking good Bob

Cool pic

…
LOL! :D Well, I'm not sure it'll stick, but Abbeydale is the area of Sheffield where I bought the knife ;) :D
Thanks for the reply, Jack! :)

…
Thanks, GT. If I can't find my way into my old account at some point today I will email you directly from my usual one this weekend. …

Just realized I had completely skipped over this question when answering. The baby doc is a Case Brothers (the kind that comes in the navy blue tin), F&F is outstanding and the secondary bevel doesn't have any of the inconsistencies that my 6.5 bonestag full-size doc has. The 'yotes might have some new competition for the watch pocket.
…
Thanks for the update and the pediatrician info. :D

Had a huge presentation to my CEO and the rest of the SVPs today that went perfectly, and I was thankful to be carrying my great granddaddy's knife in my pocket for luck!

Congrats on the perfect huge presentation, Jeff! That’s a prime-time good luck charm!

…This one showed up yesterday. Let the patina begin!!!:D

Congrats on the new CV bone Sodbuster, FBC. I have one in chestnut bone that I like more than I ever thought I’d like a single-bladed knife.

…Thanks, GT! I think the tree is an Oak. My much more knowledgeable hiking friends were not with me yesterday so I'm not sure That Sodbuster, Jr. looks like it has seen some use. My Dad bought me one of the plainer ones when I was a teenager. Neat knife and even better in Chestnut and CV!
…
Speaking of 'old' friends, I decided to carry my first TC Barlow on old friends Friday.

Fantastic old friend, Dean! Thanks for the tree info and the SBJ comments; I won mine in a BigBiscuit GAW in January 2015 and have carried it almost daily ever since then.
Dean, I finally gave my Dad one of those “bullet pencils” you sent me; thanks! He thought it was pretty cool (although I’m not sure he recognized it at first), and we had a good time reminiscing about some of the simple pleasures and homemade toys from back in my kidhood.

I was getting finger twitches from not having a knife in Hawaii...but did find this SAK in a yard sale in Kailua, after a breakfast at Moke's.
Didn't get a chance to post it while on vacay...so this is a picture from the trip. I left that cadet at my mom's place, but I had a silver one already and carrying today.

Welcome back, Steve; hope your mom had a wonderful birthday and you had an enjoyable trip!

That’s a big-league teardrop, Bob; what a fabulous knife!

Rodgers congress today!
Charming old congress, Ernie!!

Another Barlow - this one a Keen Kutter 829.
Another winner, Atiger; killer Keen Kutter!

…
I've been carrying this one all week. May change it up for the weekend.

How are you liking the NifeBrite, Barrett? Does it keep you awake at night? ;)

Stag - one that I really don't carry often. It's blade is just about as long as I like to carry here in the UK, which is a pity as it's a beautiful piece;

Very nice, Paul; those 2014 Forum knives had some choice stag!

I bet it will look impressive when you’re finished, Gev! Did you make that arrow-shaped tool?

Another superb photo of an excellent knife, Bob! You must be a lot more flexible than I am; you get some low angles in your photos that probably come from positions that I couldn’t get out of if I ever managed to get into them! It’s great to see you posting regularly lately! :D:thumbup:

For my Whatever I Wish Weekend, I'm carrying a bunch of Imperials:

Totin the TC today
ivory%20bone%20TC%2001.JPG

Thank you Sir! That smooth bone is wonderful!Just a fantastic specimen!

Jack
The spring pin is broken and its chipped on the pile side but I will see what I can do. Both blades are decent and the springs are intact. It may have some snap once the pin is replaced. I sure hope so because I really like it:D:D.

"Edit" Thanks Gary!! No...the tool is from an old razor knife kit I have. I use it to gently remove stubborn paint if nothing else works. Some great carries for this week your packing:thumbup::thumbup::D

Hope it works out my friend, those covers are beautiful

Had a long day today, but it's been a good one :) Just got time to post what I've had in my pockets before retiring ;)

Thanks Jack and Gary. I don't know about flexible Gary. I just happened to be sitting in a chair enjoying the nice day and that rock and Phlox were within reach. Otherwise I would have said forget that. :o:D
Oh and the shots with the pavers are actually higher than the deck behind my house on the other side of a retaining wall. So I can just sit on the steps and get a low angle shot without bending down low. ;)

I like the horn covers on that Lambsfoot Jack. reminds me of a setting sun that has broken through the rain clouds.

Another Barlow - this one a Keen Kutter 829.

That's a good looking Barlow, Atiger, and one that is on my radar. Good find!

That sure is looking good :)

Thank you, Jack!

Thank you, GT. I carry a bullet pencil almost every day. Very convenient to have.

It's the White Owl for me today. This may be my summer knife...

Grand carry Bob! Gritty:D

I have the same knife except in single-blade, quality is high, it has aesthtics too but I regret choosing it over the Rust Red version. Wise after the event is no wisdom at all:eek: but, it's foolish to fret over details:thumbup:

All the best, Will

Shawn, Thank you for the kind compliment on my fixed blade from Josh:) it's my first from him and I can easily see another:thumbup:

Bob, what a great #85 from yesterday and Radio Jack today, hope your doing well my friend:thumbup:

Travman, that's a great picture of your #18:cool:

Dean, GREAT character on your Sheepfoot TC and the Whiteowl is a beauty:cool: what is the design on your slip?

Paul, GREAT looking forum knife:thumbup:

Gev, if that's a wreck, I'll be looking forward to an accident:D

Rachael, Nice picture of your #18 and the Strawberries, I just used my fixed blade from Mark to prep some for dessert tonight:)

Atiger, fantastic Keen Kutter Barlow:thumbup:

Barrett, nice Nifebrite Bull Nose, I saw it yesterday and it inspired me to carry my black micarta today:cool:

Gary, I like how you lay out your weeks carry in advance, your covered in the Imperial department:D they just take a great edge so easily;)

P&G, I love the smooth bone TC, GREAT character on yours as well:thumbup:

Jack, your Lambsfoot is a real beauty but that mystery Stag is ABSOLUTELY stunning!!! I don't think I've seen it open yet though:confused::o and thank you also for the fixed blade compliment:)

Nice White Owl Dean. I love the slim profile of that knife. Good choice for a summer knife.

Thanks, Bob. It's quite a package for its size. And I'm glad to hear you are doing OK.

Dean, GREAT character on your Sheepfoot TC and the Whiteowl is a beauty:cool: what is the design on your slip?

Thanks for the compliments, Paul! The design on the slip is my initials kinda smashed together. Barry did a great job as usual on this one. I also have one with TC on it. :)
