What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Had a huge presentation to my CEO and the rest of the SVPs today that went perfectly, and I was thankful to be carrying my great granddaddy's knife in my pocket for luck!

I really do like those Schrades, though I don't carry any of mine often enough. 1 took one out for a theme week a couple months ago, they're nice beefy knives. Long overdue for a couple snapshots.

Love the Farmer's jack!

Thirsty Thursday's totes -- the baby doc is a new arrival on its maiden ride.

Thanks, Tsar! I've looked at those baby docs before; they're tempting. Great photo, even if the 'yote sneaked in. :)

Grand shot Dean! Looks like it's scaling that tree just like some forest insect:eek:

Thanks, Will

Thanks for the nice comment, Will!

Cool photo of a fine Farmer’s Jack, Dean. :cool: That tree bark looks familiar; do you remember if it was some kind of oak tree?

Some knives I carry EVERY day, in addition to my weekly rotation:
Chestnut bone CV Case Sodbuster Jr

Thanks, GT! I think the tree is an Oak. My much more knowledgeable hiking friends were not with me yesterday so I'm not sure That Sodbuster, Jr. looks like it has seen some use. My Dad bought me one of the plainer ones when I was a teenager. Neat knife and even better in Chestnut and CV!

Well, it's certainly better than Fish Knife Friday, that's for sure. :D

:thumbup::)

Speaking of 'old' friends, I decided to carry my first TC Barlow on old friends Friday.

I was getting finger twitches from not having a knife in Hawaii...but did find this SAK in a yard sale in Kailua, after a breakfast at Moke's.
Didn't get a chance to post it while on vacay...so this is a picture from the trip. I left that cadet at my mom's place, but I had a silver one already and carrying today.

Glad to hear everything went smoothly, I'll bet the vibe was helped by having that sweet jack in tow. That bone is super pretty! :thumbup:

I think as far as the docs go I'm a convert to the "smaller is better" crowd. Those 'yotes are sneaky buggers and they won't domesticate easily. :D

Wonderful TC!

Rodgers congress today!

Some incredible Sheffield stag!

I am wearing shorts today so that means a small and light knife. Beagle with oil well ash wood.

How was that Bikini Blonde? I've had their Coconut Porter, which was pretty good, but haven't tried any of their other stuff.

Beautiful #85, Bob!

I've been carrying this one all week. May change it up for the weekend.

Stag - one that I really don't carry often. It's blade is just about as long as I like to carry here in the UK, which is a pity as it's a beautiful piece;
