Horn covered bulldog congress, well worn chestnut CV peanut, zippo, atmospheric lighting; it must be Pete. Good to see you here buddy, how goes it?

I kinda like the kick at the end of the standard Opi handles. Though it's a bit larger, I think the Opi #8 garden knife might tick some of your boxes. It would probably look good with a worked handle, too.

Happy Friday, everyone!
Thanks for pointing out the Opinel garden knife, TB. I’d never noticed its spearpoint blade before; that’s an attractive feature to me.
Nice selection of attractive handle treatments in your Friday trio!

…
Thanks! I used dremel. Without trying to sound like person who loves self too much, I kind of have stable hand because I've done all sorts of drawing and shaping in my life. :)

I used kiridashi to remove excess stock from the handle and then dremeled that too. I used my zippo for burning.
…
Thanks for more info about your Opinel mod; you have some admirable talents. A.L.!

Thanks GT :D  Yes, my Slim Jack was on the table, I need to take more pics :o Vic Electrician and a Sodbuster Jnr is a great combination I think
…
Thanks, Jack. :)

Congrats on your new Northwoods, Jeff!

Took the Wostenholm I-XL to lunch to show to an old English friend who recalled being in the British Merchant Marines in the late '40's and transporting large rolls of steel from Pennsylvania to Sheffield for tempering then delivering them back to Pennsylvania.
I enjoyed the story and another look at your I*XL Barlow!

…Thanks for the kind comment Gary. The woods were spectacular as all the leaves were breaking out. The sun not so much as it brings out a gazillion black flies.
…
Today I carried a 13 Forum knife and a GEC 92.

Oops, I forgot about black fly season. :( Quality pair, as usual, Ken; I always enjoy the contrasting black/white combos, and that BF congress jack is so elegant!

Case Humpback Stockman for the foreseeable future.

Very nice! I think you’re the person who made me aware of this intriguing pattern; thanks! ;)

I love watching the patina grow and change on my yeller Soddie Jr.

I love that Menefee Dogleg Kris. I hope your daughter is feeling better or at least feeling some relief today.

You must have giant pockets to carry all of those knives GT! (A strong belt too!)

I've been carrying this one for the last couple of days and may just continue right on through the weekend with it....Davison #1201, 3-7/8", Ironwood, ATS-34.

Harronek- that sheath is perfection (if that's not too big of a superlative), it really jumped out of my screen and made me want to get dirty little fingerprints all over it :). i have cruise this thread more often the variety of knives is wonderful, but some of the pics are just, well...professional quality or darn close. Wow.
thanks, Neal
